1) LOL at hating on Int'l players anthem as a choice for single of the year. Who gives a fuck if there were better songs on the album than that? THEY WASNT SINGLES. understand the category 1st.

2) LOL at hating on tangled thoughts. u ain't know who they is, don't speak

3) LOL at hating on Meech Wells. that tape is a banger 8)

bigg steele: congrats on sellin how much u did, but don't be mad at ppl gettin put on list. It's up to the dub, and they choose who they did. & Fingazz is great, but no way he deserve it more than most on that list

Good shit on those picks.  I don't necessarily agree w/ all of them but thats how these things go, lol.  I also liked the uniqueness of some of the categories.

Hey in all honesty the list is not Dubcnn's best of 2007 as voted on by Dubcc. This convo ALWAYS ends up like this with a bunch of people disagreeing with they picks. It's all opinion at the end of the day.

I don't like that list. Looks like y'all just put the big major releases together. For best single you chose the major singles. Like e.g. from the UGK album the track with OutKast which is far from the best on their album, which is really dope for a 2007 release. But there are tracks like "Quit Hatin The South" ft. Charlie Wilson e.g. that own that track so hard, I mean musically. But you chose the popular one. I don't know why you missed the Kurupt track "Mystic River" which is in my top 5 of 2007. I mean this Battlecat beat is crazy and Kurupt is really deep on that one. I wonder why the DPG album gets no mentioning, regarding that it's a strong and one of their best records imo. I mean the brought back that real gangsta sound and the features were awesome. This album had energy. And last, I can't see why there is no chicano release mentioned. Especially the double disc by Mr. Criminal was very dope. Producer of the year is Fingazz for sure, you all just sleep on that. Just listen to the cuts Fingazz produced on the Criminal album, on the Capone-E album or the Down aka. Kilo album. This guy is awsome. Remember 2006 he produced the whole Roscoe album, which is near to classic to me.
That's just my opinion, y'all may think about it.
Peace

U.G.K. only had two singles from their latest album. International Players Anthem was the best one. You, my friend, are having a little trouble understanding what the category is about. It's not "Best Album Track of 2007." We didn't miss that Kurupt track. It's in YOUR top 5, not OURS. No "Chicano" Album? Since when has Sick Jacken became Puerto Rican. Fingazz is cool, but Summertime Anthem and all that shit didn't spark interest, Sorry.

I wasnt go say shit, but Im sick of these fuckin bogus ass list. they mainly consist of whoevers dick yall riding at the moment.and I laugh everytime yall put niggas on there who aint sold one record
Producer of the year west coast_Fingazz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who the fuck else had more songs on the billboard charts at the same time aside from timbo???
Mixtapes, all three of my chronicles series, I outsold all these niggas 10 to 1, Dubai, The UK, The Netherlands, Asia, walk in HMV and ask about(fuck it, a shameless plug. but true lol)
Single of the year,Down- Lean Like a cholo, Hate it or love it, the shit was a 5000 spin a week record
That Blu & exile album is the shit, so that was a good pick!

Na. No dick riding. It ain't about sales. If it was, Soulja Boy would be up there. I don't care how many songs Fingazz had on the charts, his shit was just boring. Like I said before, if sales mattered Soulja Boy would be on this list. It's cool that you sold that much, but I really don't think your music touched these dudes at all:

Big Mike & Ya Boy - The Fix
Lil Wayne - Da Drought 3
Joe Budden - Mood Muzik 3
Bishop Lamont & Black Milk - CalTroit The Mixtape
Krayzie Bone - The Fixtape

Lean Like A Cholo falls in the same category as Crank Dat and Ay Bay Bay, they're gimmick songs that people will look back at and laugh later on (See: Whoop There It Is, Tootsie Roll etc. etc.)

yeah I agree with this nicca.
who the fuc is tangled thoughts? breakthrough to who? the dubbcnn staff? and how lil eazy get a mention for westcoast single when the nicca didnt get no buzz or radio spins off that shiet. other niccas like bangloose had radio singles playin all thru southern cali stations in the WEST. that meech weels shiet overhyped on this site to cuz they friends with the nicca.

Breakthrough to who? The Dubcnn staff? Why yes... I'm so glad that you were able to realize that this was a list compiled by the Dubcnn staff.  Tangled Thoughts had a pretty good year as far as getting their name out there. Virtual unknowns are now making moves working with dudes like B-Real and Damizza. That's breaking through...

That Grey Goose song by Bangloose was not tight. LOL. I don't care if it got spins... it was garbage to me. Lil Eazy's was a better quality track. It's Quality. Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y. Not spins. Not sales. Not any of these little things ya'll are using to plead your case.

Its cool if you gotta opinion.I honestly don't care if you think my music is not tighter than those on that list, much success to those  dudes mentioned, but please,  don't make it a personal issue.

Who's making it personal? The fact of the matter is, this list was compiled by the Dubcnn staff. We all made a list based on OUR opinion, taste and likes. I personally don't like your music, but I like the music of the people listed, which is why they're listed there. That's all I'm saying. Not a personal attack on you.
