1.  Dre PUBLICALLY called Him Out On This, In A Source Mag Interview... That's Probaby Why Puff Feels Ashamed...

2. I've Heard Puff's Unsampled Stuff, And I Gotta Admit, It's Tight.. Really Tight, Actually... It'll Have Great Production, Watch... Puffy Isn't Talentless, Just Lazy Sometimes.

OK First of all Puffy changing his style has NOTHING to do with Dre, Puff said that he was changing his hole format after the trial was over. Are U that obsessed with Dre that u have to bring him up in EVERY fucking thread?

And to you cats hatin on Bad Boy 4 Life just because he likes BAD BOY are just arrogant he has just as much right for an opinion as anyone here. Dre is the last one to be hating on Puffy. After all, he is the one who produced "Doggystyle" & "The Chronic" right? Can U say GEORGE CLINTON?

Hey Mr. Big, Are You So Obsessed With Puffy That If I Say 1 Critical Comment About Him, And Then Spend The Rest Of The Post Taking Up For His Flamin' Ass, You Still Get Offended?

Anyways, Since People Are To Funkin' Ignorant To Interpret What I Said, I'll Break It Down.

1. Puffy Says He's Not Sampling Anymore...
2. This Is After Dre Says That Puffy Isn't Creative, Because He Only Sampled.  Dre Said It's Fine To Sample, But Eventually You Have To Move On.
3. Puffy Has Tight Beats, With or Without Sampling.
4. When Puffy Makes A Wack Beat, It's (In My Opinion) Usually When He Rushes The Song, And gets Too Lazy To Take His Time.

Simple Enough?

Nah I was just kidding, I thought that was obvious

Didnt know you liked Hulk that much. To tell you the truth there is some stuff I like & respect about Hogan, but alot of bad stuff about him too

I respect what he did for wrestling, for working matches through injurys, for going on the road all those years & the fact he is a nice guy

What I dont like is that he didnt pass the torch, he wrestled in the end because of the millions of dollars Bischoff was paying him despite the fact he wasnt that much of a draw anymore, the laziness, the dissrespect he showed to the younger wrestlers who have more talent in there pinky finger than Hogan has in his whole body, his ego, his selfishness & a few other things.

He was never that good of a WORKER anyway. He had charisma & character going for him, & in the end he had been around so long he wore that out. The fans were booing him while he was a face in 1995, thats how bad they didnt like him on there TV screen. His matches were often dull & predictable besides the occausional rehearshed good match

Many better wrestlers deserved Hogans spot for years but never got it.

Ted Di Bease, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Curt Henning (Mr. Perfect), Ricky Steamboat were all 10 times better than Hogan but never got to hold the title because of Hogan's selfishness to want to keep the belt around himself for years

WHOOO! I Love Talking About This... Everybody'll Get Pissed Though, So If You Reply , Start A new Post, And We'll Take It Over There.

I Agree With Much Of Your Statements, But I Think You're Missplacing Blame... I Agree That Hogan Got Lazy, Did Sloppy Matches, Etc. And That There Are Other Wrestlers A Million Times Better Than Him, Although I Still Think On The Mic And As Far As Charisma And Acting, He's Still One of The Best...

I Believe Though, That It Isn't His Fault Eric Bishoff And Vince McMahon Wanted To Give Him The Belt For Years.  Do You Honestly Think That Hogan Had Enough Pull To DEMAND The Belt?  Come On... I Think It Came Down To The Creative Team Not Being "creative" Enough To Think Of Any Other Solution Then "Oh, Let Hogan Have The Belt"... And I Bring Your Attention To An Interview That Vince Russo Gave WCW.Com About A year Ago.  This Was About 2 Months Before Hogan Was "Fired" At The Pay Per View... In The Interview, Russo Stated That He Had NEVER Had A Problem With Hogan, Hogan Had Done Everything He'd Asked Him To Do, And That While Hogan Did Have A Creative Clause In His Contract, He Had Never Used It.

Wrestling Sites Reported A Month Later That Hogan HAD Used His Clause On That Weeks Nitro, Because He Was Scheduled To Fight The Wall.  They Told Him To Pin Him With His Leg Drop.. Hogan Decided To Use His Creative Clause To Have The Wall Instead Kick Out Of His Famous Finishing Move... So, If He's Such A Egomainiac, Why Would He Do That?  I Think That In Reality, The Problem With Hogan Lied With The Management...

And You Say Hogan Never Passed The Torch.  He Let The Ultimate Warrior Beat Him Fair And Square In The Early 90's.  And He Let Goldberg Beat Him Fair And Square In The Late 90's.  That's Arguably The 2 Biggest Up And Coming Stars He's Ever Worked With, And He Put Both Of Them Over....

Hogan And Flair Are Good Friends, Which I Guess Explains Why Flair Put Hogan Over So Much.  Keep In Mind That Hogan Was Usually The Face When Flair Put Him Over, Too...

Any Thoughts?

It's not about passing the belt Engies, it's about getting his ass out of wrestling. It didn't matter whether he was champ or not; his being there took the shine off whoever they were trying to make into a credible champ and a top draw - Warrior, Goldberg etc. He should have genuinely retired after the NWO died down
His greatest match IMO was the fully rehearsed WM6 title match
A great draw, below average worker and ultimately very selfish person.

Safe

1.Never really liked Puffy, he tried far too hard to earn respect, but it just blew up in his face, i.e 'I'll be capitalizing off your Death'.

2.Ultimate Warrior was a mad ass wrestler.

How Is It Selfish, That If They're Waving 5 Mil A Year In Your Face, To Say "yes"...

Remember, He Didn't MAKE Eric Bishoff Sign That Contract.  What Was He Supposed To Do?

"Oh, No.! I Would NEVER Take That 5 Million A Year, Plus Let You Make Me The Most Famous Wrestler In The World.  What? I'm Going To Get 10 Percent Of All My Merchandise Sold? NEVER!  Why Would I Do That? I'm More Worried About Jake The Snake Having Enough Money For His Heroin Addiction!"

?

Makes NO Sense.

Hogan has one of the biggest ego's in wrestling. Hell its bigger than Shawn Micheals (and thats pretty damn big). He along with Kevin Nash helped destroy WCW in the first place because they were given power by Eric Bishoff. They put themselves over instead of healping out the younger talent. Thats was wrong.

But I still respect Hogan. Even though he has done alot of shady shit he still did alot for wrestling. I don't like Kevin Nash, never have never will. He was trying to get political power in the locker room in thw WWf but I guess he got rejected.

Ya Know What I Think? I Think Yall Are SOO AFRAID Of People Saying that You Just Like Things Because They're The Popular Thing.  Ya Know?

You'd Rather Brag About Xzibit, But Then Whenever He Goes Mainstream, Nobody Mentions Him Any More... Hmm....

Then You Wanna Brag About Kurupt, Because He's Not Too Big, When You Oughta Be Braggin' About Snoop, Since He's A Better Emcee In The First Place... But I Guess That Would Be Selling Out, Right?

Then Yall Don't Wanna Admit Ya STILL Like Michael Jackson, Hulk Hogan, Etc. Your Heroes From When you Were Little Kids, Because We're All Trying OH SO HARD To Be Individuals, And Not Go Along With The Crowd.

Me, I Say Buck It, LOL... I Don't Care What Yall Think Of Me, I Like Michael Jackson ,Always Have, Always Will.  I Like Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, The Beatles, Hulk Hogan, And A Dozen other Heroes From When I Was A Kid, It's Part Of Me, And I Don't Mind Admitting It, LOL..

This Only Goes Out To Some, I Know Some Of Yall Are Down...

I Mean, It's Alright If You Just Don't Like Something, But When You Start Switching Up Your Views Just Because You're Afraid Of What People Think, Or You Heard This, Or You Heard That, Etc. That's Wrong...

I'm A TRUE BLUE FAN.. Once A Fan, Always A Fan.  If I Woulda Been A Sicx Fan, I'd Be Bumpin' His Stuff Around My Kids, Ya Know?  I Just Think People Shouldn't Get Worried Aobut What They Heard About This Person, Etc., And Just If You Like It, Straight Up Like It, Don't Worry About Whether Hogan Has 10 Million Fans, Or Puff Daddy's A Sell Out, Or Eminem Has White Girl Fans, Or Nelly Sells 8 Million Records...

Peace

puffy get rid of sampling? i will believe it when i hear it. all i know is one of the songs on that album is a shameless lift of "phone tap". i truly hope he tries to a least cut down on sampling. i think puff has the talent to become a good producer again. i think the last few years puff got into so many side projects he got extremely lazy in his production. puff has relied so much on blatant and relentless jacking of entire beats i don't know if he can make good records using live instruments. i hope he can, i really do. but i never thought puffy was real talented musically. i thought he was a talent as a record executive and a business man. i really liked puff before he used the death of his "friend" biggie to make himself a star. i will never forgive him for the video for "i'll be missing you". instead of putting together a nice tribute to big through pictures and film clips of big,  puff decided to make the video a sick big ego moment by focusing on himself. that dancing in the rain shit was ridiculous. and i guarantee if big hadn't died puff would have never blew up as an solo artist like he did. he may be the worst rapper out there as far as lyrics, flow and delivery. he needs to stay out of the videos and stay off the mike. if he focuses on being a behind the scenes producer, record executive and business man he will get my respect back. and if he ditches sampling i will sing his praises loudly.
i also wanted to clarify dre's "calling out" puffy. i read bad boy4life post and was baffled by his comments. what does suge knight's lies and player hating comments have to do with dre's opinions of others. there is a big difference between being so jeolous of somebody that you will say any lie to try to bring him down and constructive criticism. you assumed that "calling out" puffy meant that dre dissed him. dre don't dis people. he focuses on the music and ignores the bullshit by not responding to disses and not dissing somebody for no reason. badboy i appreciate that your a die hard fan of the label. i think that's great cause puff needs fans like you to support him. but don't dis somebody without knowing the whole story. don't assume dre was dissing puffy when you read the words "called out". here is the story. dre was being interviewed by newsweek magazine. the reporter asked him what he thought about current rap music and dre replied  "nothing much excites me right now. listening to the radio you'd think hip hop was one big sample". the reporter asked him if he was talking about puffy. what didn't get printed was that dre said many producers were to blame, it was just that puffy was the highest profile producer that used sampling exclusivlely. dre was then asked what he thought of puffy and dre responded that he couldn't front on his huge respect for puffy as a businessman. he then said that he though puffy's blatant use of  sampling was "hurting the art form" and that he wished people would follow his (dre's) lead and create original songs, compositions and productions. dre NEVER dissed puffy. and believe me puffy listened and that was at least a small part of puffs recent change. when the best producer on the planet offers constructive criticism people listen. so there you go. i just wanted to clarify some things.

Well all I have to be honest, im not big fan of P-Diddy rapping however I do think he can produce. I also think he's proven he can produce, he's produced some hot jams. Now when I say im not a fan of his rapping that doesn't mean I think he's horrible, I think he's okay but nothing great. And as for people clowning you for being a BADBOY fan im assuming that's on the West Coast, BADBOY is pretty big here in the East, more so then the ROC. Mellowman I read your re post and understand where your coming from. At first you made it seem that he was straight out dissing Diddy which I thought was wrong. However tho you said DRE never disses anyone that's not true, remember EAZY E? Plus he has that bitch Eminem on his label. Anyway back to BADBOY , you can't complain about their last few releases , Black Robs life story was a phat joint, and SHYNES album was phat too. P-Diddy and the BadBoy family the saga continues is a hot joint as well. yall should give um a chance.

puff daddys album?? or that puff daddy presents..bad boy compilation shit??

Puffy caught the JAy-Z/Trick Daddy bug.  The bug is when you are supposed to drop a compilation, but it evolves into your own solo album.  The Bad Boy Compilation will now be Puffy's third album.  It's going to be in a format similar to The No Way Out album.  It's going tp be P. Diddy & The Family.
