wow, that's a lot of rage over what people want to hear... fact of the matter is, people dont have time to sit on internet forums and post everyday, read every westcoast news site, magazines, and search out these cats' music. people want to hear artists that are established and they are familiar with. fact of the matter is, people have real lives beyond the internet and dont even know who skee-lo, paper boy, proper dose, or mellow yellow ace is. it's the artist's job to get their name out there, not the consumers. we download the music, listen to it, sometimes buy it if it's good, go their shows and support them as fans. it's not our job to be their street promotion team and search out these no-names and takeover our friend's car stereo's and eject their music and say "HEY MAN, YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS CAUSE ITS A NEW ARTIST WHO WAS BORN IN CALIFORNIA!" people got real lives and to call westcoast fans garbage sounds like someone just creating a topic for nothing more than shock effect.
But also, the West been blackballed since Death Row we know that. I mean even Game and Snoop can get that much airplay compared to 50 cent, T.I., Kanye etc etc. Again, T.I.'s album was and got horrible reviews, yet he got 9 BET nominations, and a grammy nomination. Same thing with Kingdome Come, and Ludacris's Release Therapy.
