They really didn't care about spellings back than, and Snoop Dog was short for Snoop Doggy Dogg, so they put Snoop Dog on the album cover, cuz it fit better...

Yea its true, Deathrow owns Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tha Doggpound..... :(

i know i read an interview where snoop said that he owns his name (snoop doggy dogg)  he jus changed it cuz he wanted to seperate himself from his deathrow days..

Deathrow owns tha doggpound. They don't own snoop doggy dogg. If you don't believe me check the us trademarks/copyrights. I had the page, so I could link you but it doesn't work anymore.
