Suge Knight to Return To Death Row in August
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Death Row Records CEO Marion "Suge" Knight will be released on August 9th from a federal prison in Oregon where he is completing a sentence for violating probation. Knight was paroled on April 20th from Mule Creek State Prison in Ione, California, after serving half of a nine-year term for violating probation on assault charges. He was then transferred to a federal prison in Sheridan, Oregon to finish the remaining months of a federal probation violation sentence that had been running concurrently with the state sentence, said Randsom Ali, executive assistant to the warden at the Oregon facility.

Knight will be on supervised release after he leaves prison in August, Ali said. Knight was on probation for state and federal charges the night of September 7, 1996, when he was involved in a fight at a Las Vegas hotel. Hours after the fight, rap star Tupac Shakur was fatally shot in a drive-by attack as he rode in Knight's car. The following February, Knight was sentenced to nine years in prison for violating the terms of his probation by taking part in the fight. He had been on state-monitored probation since 1995, when he entered no-contest pleas to two counts of assault stemming from a 1992 attack on two rappers at a Hollywood recording studio. He also pleaded guilty in 1995 to federal charges of attempting to commit a drug-related offense and conspiracy, and was given a month in jail and three years supervised release.

It's about time Suge Knight got out, now we can offically nail the coffin shut on DeathRow. No more talk oh when Suge gets out tha row will be back. DeathRow RIP .

Hopefully Suge will use the good taslent he has, Crooked I is amazing, & cut down on the dissing because Death Row diss songs are so common these days that there played out

Focus on music & your artists Suge, & Death Row will have a better chance. I hope Suge can do that, thou I doubt it
