New M.J. Album News
« on: June 13, 2001, 09:07:35 PM »
A select group of Sony Music executives were given a sneak preview of Michael Jackson's new album at "The Hit Factory" in New York City this Tuesday.

Jackson made a brief appearance to welcome the executives. A total of 15 songs were presented.

Although, most of the track listing and the title of the new album has been decided, at this time, Jackson wishes to keep this information from being public. However, Planet Jackson reveals that the title of the album is a single word that begins with the letter "I".

Many attendees described the new album to be Jackson's best work since "Thriller."

The new album is due out at the end of September.

Here's More; OH MY....  :

WKTU Radio in New York let the cat out of the bag this morning when it
announced the title of Michael's new album.

First it was Off the Wall, then Thriller. He's Bad and Dangerous. He's
made music HIStory over and over again. He is in a word, INVINCIBLE.

That's right folks. INVINCIBLE is the title of the King of Pop's new CD,
expected to hit music stores in September to coincide with the September
7th MSG concert. WKTU DJs had an opportunity to preview the album this
week, with one calling it "amazing." Expect a "change in the music
industry," said morning DJ Michelle Versage.

Yeah, But Comeon... He DOES Change The Industry... One Thing I've Noticed, Is All Of His Albums Are FOR REAL, About 3-4 Years Ahead Of Their Time.

for Instance, The Music On His '91 Album "Dangerous", Sounded Kinda Strange When it First Came Out.  By '95, It Sounded Right At Home, Because Everything On The Radio Sounded Like It.

Then, He Did "History" In '95.  NOBODY Talked About This Album... Now, It's Finally Catching Up, And It's Becoming Evident That All The Lil' Teeny Bopper Videos On T.V. Now Are What He Was Doing In '95, With That Album...

Then, He Released A Remix Album With About 5 New Songs In '98.  "Blood On The Dance Floor"... Call Me A Mark, But That Album's STILL Ahead Of It's Time.

Look At The Name Of The Album, "Invincible".... Think About It, That's A Pretty Bad Ass Name... LOL.

If Peeps Take The Time To Listen To His Stuff, Anybody Who's Heard All His Songs Will Tell You The Man's Talent Has NO End... He Really Is Amazing.

He Made A Video In '98 For "Blood On The Dance Floor" Called "Ghosts", And If Any Of You Saw It, You'll Agree That He Hasn't Lost A Step When It Comes To Dancing.. There's 1 Part In The Video Where It Appears His Feet Aren't Even Touching The Ground He's Dancing So Fast... He's Got A BIG Head, But He Deserves Most Of The Praise He Gets...

Off The Wall
Thriller
Bad
Dangerous
History
Blood On The Dance Floor
Invincible

Really, if You Look At Those Albums, Without Hearing Invincible, The Other 6 Were Near-Perfect... I Can't Think Of 1 Person That Consistent, Bar None.  Even The Beatles Weren't That On Point With Classics... About 25% Of Their Songs Were Filler...

Frank Sinatra, About Half Of His Songs Were Throw Away; Even Dr. Dre Has Only Done 2 Albums, So He Can't Touch Him As Far As Quality... Elvis Pressley Had A Ton Of Songs, But About Half Were HalfAss Wack Songs... Same Thing With Garth Brooks, Or Whoever Else You Wanna Name In Music...

I Do Agree With You Though, Peeps Shouldn't Say That "Gonna Change The Industry" Stuff, It Puts BIG Hype On the Album...

Tommy Mottola (President Of Sony) Was Quoted As Saying "It's The Best Music I've Ever Heard", And Rodney Jerkins (Who Produced A Ton Of It) Keeps Saying That They Invented A New Type Of Music, He's Calling Techno R&B... LOL...

Just Got More Info;
M.J. On This Album Used All The Old-School Microphones That Were Used On Thriller And Off The Wall, Along With New Soundboard Technology, To Give The Vocals And Songs An Old School Feel To Them.  Supposedly He's Really Conscious About Regaining His U.S. Fan Base, And Will Tour The U.S. Next Summer, After His 2 Concerts In Madison square Garden September 7th, And 10th... He's Choreographing Both Shows Entirely Himself.

Yeah, Those Were Dope Too, But When He Did Those, He Was Still A Member Of The Jackson 5, And He Didn't Write Any Of The Songs :(... They Just Add To His Legacy Though.  I Was Just Trying To Show That Since He's Been On His Own, He's Untouchable.

If the songs leak out, which I pray they don't, I don't think I couldn't handle not listening to them.

LoL.. crazy.. I didnt even think you guys were serious at first..... you're really that much into Michael huh?

It seems like you foolz are more into Michael than West Coast Rap.... any good Michael Forums out there?

This shit dont really excite me at all.... I know you're gonna say he's a legend and a king or whatever but I just aint really into that kinda music... It aint like I'm denying what he's done in tha Music world.... I'd just rather hear about when Snoop, Dre, Cube, Jayo, Dj Quik and others are doing.
