The Clash's London Calling
« on: January 12, 2008, 08:58:01 PM »

Thoughts on this classic album?  Favorite track?  There isn't a bad song on this album, and the weaker ones are just an A-, everything else is A or A+.  Usually depends on how I'm feeling that day I listen to the album to have a favorite lol.  Today, it's Guns of Brixton and The Card Cheat.

1. London Calling
2. Brand New Cadillac
3. Jimmy Jazz
4. Hateful
5. Rudie Can't Fail
6. Spanish Bombs
7. The Right Profile
8. Lost In The Supermarket
9. Clampdown
10. The Guns Of Brixton
11. Wrong 'Em Boyo
12. Death Or Glory
13. Koka Kola
14. The Card Cheat
15. Lover's Rock
16. Four Horsemen
17. I'm Not Down
18. Revolution Rock
19. Train In Vain

Great album from one of my all time favorite bands. It's hard to pick a favorite song from this album. But if I had to pick I'd pick "Guns of Brixton"

Amazing album. "Train In Vain" is one of my favorite songs ever. Other than that i like "Guns Of Brixton" and "Rudie Can't Fail" the best.

Or "Lost in the Supermarket". Classic album from one of the greatest bands of all time.

Sadly, I have not heard the whole album. The songs I have listened to were great though.

^ its very easy to listen through, every song is different and great (kinda like beatles white album, but not as amazing), but i think the cover is wonderful, and the elvis style writting is witty.
