Just wanted to ask what your favorite "Hood" movie is? Mine would have to be Boyz N Tha Hood... it's an incredible story that everyone should see...

4. i can't remember the name of it but it's a horror movie set in the hood i think the cover has a picture with a skull with some locs on
5. New Jack City


and if Friday Counts as  a "hood" movie then that would be my number one

Im gonna have to say: Friday

I dont know what it is about this movie, but it really never gets old. I can watch it again and again, and notice new things and funny little shit that I never noticed before.

Boyz in the hood
Menace 2 Society

  "Boyz N The Hood" and "Menace II Society" were both tight.... "The Wood" was coo' too... It wasn't really about gangs n shit but it did take place in tha hood i guess.

  These aint really "Hood" movies but I thought they were alright too....

  "Sugar Hill" (Kinda Boring but it's coo' if you get into it"

  _Hatesrats_: were you serious about Boulavard Nights? That shit was straight Wackness! If you were gonna name a Mexican Gangster movie... you atleast could've named "American Me" or "Blood In Blood Out: Bound By Honor".... they were alright... shit even "Mi Vida Loca" would've been cooler...

Criminal:The post was about "Hood" flicks not "Mafia" or Drug movies........Boulavard nights was the first movie to show hood-life on a daily basis and have an entire film based around it....Who the fuck you think introduced you to the fucken' dropped top's, 64's, crusing, pendelton's, dickie's, Hydro's, Ben Davis (The Homie's) ect.....The early lifestle of a "Vato" in the 70's...That's why....Menace II society did the same for hood life in the inner city...as far as intoducing some to "90's streetlife"......
