Thicker than blood is one of the dumbest movies i have ever seen it made the Eastsidaz look classic.

I also like Stand and Deliver. It takes place in L.A. as well, but its based more on this teacher who changed the kids from hood smart to einstein smart... its a true story... kind of like dangerous minds only ten times better

oh and about Boyz N Tha Hood, my favorite part is below

Hey Willie, remember this line from blood in blood out: "Hey Cinderella, go find anotha fella!"

If you guys haven't seen Blood in Blood out you should definitely go rent it!  It's about 3 brothers in the same gang in East Los Angeles who each go their seperate ways.  It's not in the least bit corny and is just as hard hitting as Boyz in the Hood and Menace II society.

BTW my favorite hood movies:
1- boyz in the hood
2-Menace II Society
3-Blood in Blood Out
4-Friday
5-New Jersey Drive

I forgot 3 strikes. Thats my movie. I never seen New Jersey Drive. I always knew that total and bigie song was on the soundtrack but never knew what the hell the movie was or about.
