I think Pac did both equally as well, I enjoyed the MATW album as much as I did AEOM I think if he had lived longer you would see the more consious Pac rather than the gangsta persona

he did get carried away with the "Bad Boy killa" mentality, it did get to me a little too, I don't know if he actually hated Biggie that much or it was a marketing ploy that alot suggested at the time

^^^I think he really hated Biggie, to me it seems that pac became very paranoid in his DR days, in his last days he even started beefin' with his "friends" (Snoop, Cube...) plus the whole Eastcoast.
Suge def. had a bad influence on him (except musicially)

And I think 2Pac is the best ever because he is the only one who could cover both . If I had to keep one, I would chose the conscios 2pac because there are too much others who claim that gangsta shit.

yeah i guess it was death row's plan, since 2pac began to play the role of the Thug more when he came to that label.

I think Suge was a bad influence as well on Pac that led to that paranoia, alot of good music came out of that but in the long run it was not good for Pac or the label

i guess you're right, 2pac took shots at a lot of other rappers around that time( even at the lady of rage, about that eastcoast/westcoast bullshit).

it's funny cause he had just did a tribute to the old school rappers on me against the world

I think Pac is the best balanced out rapper to be able to be "Gangsta" and still be able to be concious

You shouldn't try to pigeonhole him as either.  2pac was 2pac, and all of those sides were a part of him.
