Listened to illmatic for the first time in a while yday, classic album but this track still stands out to me.

Nas got sooo much classic material. But "You'r Da Man" and  "Shoot Em Up" have been my favorite Nasir songs for a long time.

It Ain't Hard To Tell still is the most perfect Nas track to me. No matter which way you put it, every track on Illmatic is near perfect, if not perfectly flawless.

nas got too many classics, but 'ny state of mind' and 'shootouts' an 'revolutionary warfare', 'lifes a bitch' definetly get felt to the fullest right about now, truss me on that, but he's got too many classics, truss

Are the two of you implying that "Some Of Us Have Angels" and "N.Y. State Of Mind" are equally good?
