They are both AWESOME
But remember when it comes to enjoyment what makes Doggystyle better is that The Chronic used up its 'big hitters' too early. This is what I mean:

2 - Dre Day
3- Let Me Ride
5- G Thang
6- Deez Nutz
7 - Lil' Ghetto Boy
14 - Stranded on Death Row

They are not spread out well enough whereas:
2 - G Funk Intro
3 - Gin and Juice
8- Murder was the Case
10 - Who Am I?
12- Ain't No Fun
14 - Doggy Dogg World
17 - Gz up Hoes Down

See what I mean?
Safe

DOGGYCHRONIC LMAO!!!
But dudes..The Chronic is better. Proof?
Peep:
DoggyStyle only has 1 song of substance(MWTC),while chronic has 2(The Day The Niggaz Took Over,Lil Ghetto Boy). also The Chronic's song formats arrangement is superior to doggystyles. How so?
Doggystyle's song formats are very conventional: Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Verse-(maybe a bridge or some shit)-Chorus...you get the idea..The Chronic has songs like the day the niggaz took over that is completely organized seemingly yet still has perfection, dre must have labored like HELL for that song alone to master the drum and sample breaks and the cinematic perfection for the verses to drop in,same with dre day, lyrical gangbang, also the chronic's vocal samples are dope doggystyle has no noticeable vocal samples except in the intro which cna be a good or bad thing but i think the chronic is better because it's arrangement is more artistic..as for being more enjoyable? I think it's equal. peace-Tanjint

I can't really decide. They are both incredible and I couldn't have a complete record collection without them. I gotta give it to CHronic by an inch since I see how it did alot of things for rap in general and elevated the careers of many including Snoop, the guy who made Doggystyle.

To me Doggystyle is the better produced album of the two.  I think it's probably the best produced hip-hop album of all time.  Overall the Chronic is slightly better in terms of revolutionizing hip-hop, while Doggystyle was almost like a Chronic part 2.
