Hip hop act you can't stand?
« on: June 08, 2001, 09:23:56 AM »
At the moment I'll have to say anything from the South (Ca$h money, No limit) & Nelly or anything affiliated with em'. I can't stand that shit.....It fucken drives me nuts.
That's hard for me to say anything bad about no limit....but ever since Ghetto dope & the Bout it soundtrack...(commercial success) their whole sound just changed, I remember the fucken good old day's when Master P looked like a fucken straight gangsta...with fucken 1-900 number's n' shit. TRU, 99 ways to die, Ice cream man remember that shit.. (NO limit was raw) Now Master P's shit ain't even worth buying (my opinion)

I can`t stand Eminem because he`s a real pranxta, studio gangsta or whatever.
I used to like him when he dropped that funny shit , but now by makin´ a sellout trough his disses and don`t staying true by making himself a gangsta image that he isn`t.

You can't stad anything from the South? What about:

Outkast
Slimm Calhoun
Scarface
Cool Breeze
Goodie Mob
Young Bloodz

All of them are tight and got great lyrics. Don't look at them and think the South is wack. Only CM, No Limit and Nelly fuck up the reputation.

I never ever liked No limit.  Ha, Yukmouth is still pissed about Ice Cream Man.  He rides all over P on his new album

I used to like P a LOT. Now...Not so sure. "Souljas" is good, but...=/

Cash  Money are...aight...But I'm not a fan.

Outkast...Mesa big fan...I done got all of they stuff, including stuff on soundtracks etc...((Apparently I'm bias because I come from Georgia...Aight, I'm bias...EMPIRE STATE!))

Slim Cutta is dope....Don't listen to him much, but he is.

Nelly's mid west. Strangely, I like him...

Not sure what I think is wack. Hmm....Mel-Man or Yella rapping! =)

Poofy...Is wack as fuck rapping. Great producer, he's good at jacking too...KnawhaImean?

J.D.! Burn in hell, motherfucker! Dupri, go suck your mom's dick!

Aaah...That's better...Jermaine Dupri is wack as fuck at everything.

Snoop when appearing on his own records. His new style is just...groan...Though I like his "off-self" appearences...B Please II....TNE...Etc...

I've got to Set the record straight......I would have to be a fucken idiot if I came on any forum anywhere and dissed Scarface or the Geto Boys.....For some strange reason I never considered Sacrface (Rap-alot) South...because Iv'e been hearing Rap-a-lot records shit since before the fucken "Being" South shit was in.....as for the rest of the South I don't know....My younger brother plays the fuck out of it 24/7 maybe that's why I'm on some "I can't stand the South shit...?

New world record for using the word South in a post....lol

I feel ya man. Scarface and most other artists off Rap-Alot like Devin don't have that kind of "Dirty South" style. Its sounds like its West Coast music. It got a gangsta feel to it, none of that jumpy dance/club bull.
