i like the message behind it but the message gets too repetitive and half of the rappers are kinda corny to me

I don't get down with it. Its cool that they are trying to put out positive messages but the artist have no skill what so ever. They try to be hard. My radiostation plays it every sunday. Some of them sound like they steal there style from biggie and pac and just flip it to make it religious.

It really upseted me that in this months issue of the Source they do a whole article devoted to the emergence of Christian hip-hop. It even says, although hip-hop has been more closely associated with Islam, Christian hip-hop is on the rise. And they do a whole article on Christian hip-hop, with only two sentences mentioning Islam. If Islam is so popular in hip-hop, then how come we've never gotten one article in the Source that I can recall. That just isn't fair, they're are plenty of popular Muslim artists out there. Or artists influenced by Islam.

Speakin of The Cut, KRS-1 pissed me off on that show. I remember it was down to theis one women who had the really strange but good voice and some woman with a guy. He made the woman with the wierd voice lose and let the other group won. Then supposedly gave them a contract. The woman shoulda won cause she was unique.

Yeah, Pac was gonna become Muslim. Thats why he made Blasphemy where he was questioning God. He was on some soul searching around the time he died.
