Chris Webber made his NBA debut in 1993 as a member of the Golden State Warriors and ESPN's Marc Stein reports that the power forward will join the club once again on Tuesday."I'll be there tomorrow," Webber told Stein via e-mail. "It's a done deal."Webber played just one season with Golden State before being traded to Washington due to growing friction between him and Don Nelson.Webber won the Rookie of the Year award and had a per 40 FIC of 20.0.Last year with Detroit and Philadelphia, Webber had a per 40 FIC of 13.5.Beyond Andris Biedrins, the Warriors are extremely thin in the frontcourt and Don Nelson is expecting Webber to be especially crucial on the glass and as a passer.
anytime you add a veteran to the roster of a young playoff team thats a good thing
I just don't see him getting much time in Golden State's rotation...That's the reason we didn't sign him, cuz we couldn't guarantee PT.
