Gasol is not the greatest defender, but he's not a "horrible defender". Definitely has way better defense than Boozer. At least he'll block some shots and challenges anyone who steps in the post. 2 blocks per game on his career. Boozer provides 0 post presence on defense. When is the last time you heard of a center averaging .3 blocks a game?

im pretty sure utah could win the lakers in a 7 game series. and boozer shits on gasol, boozer will average 30ppg on his ass and will outrebound him 2 to 1. plus AK will clean up his defensive mistakes.

Reaching? You can't be serious...It's a very even match-up. The only difference = Boozer rebounds better, Gasol defends and passes better...I'd take Gasol over Boozer any day...ESPECIALLY in the triangle...PeACe

Gasol is clearly the better fit for the Lakers, whereas Boozer is clearly the better fit for the Jazz.

As individual players, Boozer has got the edge.

i dont typically agree with Scittles on much, but id take Gasol over Boozer. With that being said, i say Kirilenko over Lamar.
