how the hell would jay-z win he didn't really have a blow up hit this year and his album tanked....maybe last year he woulda won but he's not winning this year this year Jay-z hasn't really done anything ...Snoop on the other hand has been EVERYWHERE and the last meal is still holding strong with 2.5 albums sold, ja rule and Nelly are the only ones you really have to worry bout but more than likely (i'm not just saying this becuase i like snoop) but Snoop has the best chance of winning...oh yeah The Dynasty is probably the worst album out of all 5 of those album i'd pick up Country Grammar, Rule 3:36 and Unpredictable than that Dynasty album...horrible horrible album Jay-z is capable than more than that

yea jay-z didnt have a hit..i only heard that "i just wanna love u" joint everywhere i went for 3 months straight..and his album tanked, it only sold 2.5 million i think

i don't think the award show is biast those were the biggest acts of the year.... no question BUT why is jay-z up there his album dropped off the charts pretty fast for the so called "best rapper in the game" and his album only sold 1.6 million copies it was awarded double platnum but it didn't sell over 2 million plus most of those sales are from the east coast...tha last meal has sold 2.5 million copies and is still on the charts ja rule and nelly sold more than both of them so i ain't saying quanity of records sold is all that counts but jay-z didn't do any thing all that big to get in there, they just needed another male artist in there to fill out the nominies it's like the grammy's 2 years ago when they had the best new artist running they had like brintey christina macy gray and some other chick no one really thought would be in there, they only really had 4 real nominies but needed a 5 to fill it out , now i ain't dissing jay-z AT ALL but damn if jay-z wins that'll be sad becuase he didn't do anything all that great THIS YEAR! if it was a year or so ago i'd give jigga the nod unless dre was in there too, but this year no, he doesn't deserve it, that's like giving Karl Malone the MVP this year...it's like what all did he do this year yeah he is still a big name but Allen Iverson, Shaq, Tim Duncan, and Kobe did more this year to deserve it. Hell it would make more sence to me if Nelly or Ja Rule won it than jay-z, even though i like jay-z waaaaaaaaaay more than those 2 i still think it'd be only right since they (i'll say it again) DID MORE, but Snoop should win it (not because he's my favorite) but because he's done so much this year and done it all so well
