a year, its in a old rap pages interview....

and yes i know 2001 had problems with the title AROUND JUNE AND JULY!
then there was a release date for august 3rd

My understanding was that the money from the album went to Kurupt's ex managers.
Even if I'm wrong it didn't warrant that reaction.

Narrator, man, cool it. Jay's an Englishman. Can't blame him for mistakes. ;)

DPG gets 1/4 of the profits(APPARENTLY...=]), the managers get 1/4, DRR gets 1/2, or similar.

Chronic was recorded in 3 months, I'll back up that guy there-Rap pages meant from start to "big" release date; Ie, when it was recorded, then finishing touches, original release(prolly at 6 months) and publicity launch(12 months as mentioned).

Yay, Krayzie! Bones forever!

As for Dre...Wouldn't you want a perfect album, which 2001 was? You don't get anywhere near that unless you record like 85 tracks like Dre did.

But Narrator's right in his guesses about the films; That'll eat a LOT of time.
