Em is good at spittin lyrics and dissin someone yes, but for us true gangsta music fans, it be hard to listen to em spit those type of lyrics.

it is hard to judge any one MC to say they are the best or the illest.  Big could bring it when he wanted to also....Pac could to....
Em is good cause he has paid his dues on the underground scene, and has put in work with numerous artist like method man, and others...

i think people are taking this post a little toooooooo
literate. i mean, i don't think that anyone thinks that eminem is just the best ever, if that is the case, then they are just ignorant, but i think that, like hambone said, he is part of an elite group of mc's. you can't deny his skill, whether or not you like what he's saying, that boy has got a shit load of talent. people need to relax up in here.

Eminem ain't even close to being among the elite emcees!
                    Here are few reasons:

A) "Funny" rap ain't my thing.  A so called "funny" rap song is only funny the first fucking time you hear it....after that the shit is played out!  Besides that...Redman is way fucking better at making songs about funny shit.

B)  I can't stand his voice.  He sounds like Pee Wee Herman. Go figure though...I like E-40's voice and flow.

C) He continues to make diss songs just for the sake of dissing someone.  I'm not feeling fake ass diss songs that involve no real beef.

Basically I just view him as a gimic rapper who has lyrical skills but STILL manages to rap about ONLY stupid SHIT!  You need to keep this WORD IN MIND:LONGEVITY.  Do you honestly think he will still be blowing up the spot with multi platinum albums like Snoop and Dre do every time they hit the studio? I really doubt it.
But  if he does.....

You'll have my blessing to proclaim Em king of the hill.

Only time will tell!

Eminem is good lyrically.  He doesn't amount anywhere close to the best in my opinion, though.
