 I usually grab stuff of dalnet, is there a way to be connected to both at the same time? Is one better than the other?

running two copies of mirc is the only way

i rarely stray from EFnet.. sometimes i hit up #cali-rap and #cr-dcc on dalnet for goodies.. but all the big mp3 and vid groups are on efnet
