What If Diddy Purchased The Death Row Catalogs?
« on: February 08, 2008, 06:11:55 PM »
XXL blogger Byron Crawford a.k.a. Bol ponders the possibility of Diddy stepping in and outbidding Warner Bros. for The Death Row Records catalog. Diddy hasn't expressed interest, but he has the deep pockets...

Dr Dre is already in litigation to regain custody of his works.. so The Death Row catalogue would be Snoop DPG and 2 Pac shit.. and there really isnt that much 2Pac or DPG.. and only really 1 Snoop album..I dont think the catalogue is worth so much money..

^^^^^^^

Hmmm, does that mean that only released music would be up for auction/sale?

I wonder where all the rights to the unreleased stuff would end up... it's a shame we may never hear those in cdq

If Puffy purchased the catalogs (and it'll NEVER happen), then we would be looking at about 10 "2Pac and Biggie featuring friends" records (double CDs at that)
