Growing up in San Diego during the 90's, we could sometimes get Power 106 and 92.3 The Beat on good reception every now and then.  That was the best, because there was only one San Diego hip hop station (Z90.3) and they pretty much played Top 40 rap, R&B and house/freestyle music (cause it was really popular from like 94-97), and for some reason Power and The Beat played all kinds of west coast hip hop you would never hear down there.  Just takin a trip down memory lane since 92.3 was mentioned in the thread topic!
