Its kinda obscure what NaS is trying to say but, "we ALL niggers", but i identify with what he saying in that we all being played for ignorant fools not just black people everybody ("We gotta go to Iraq because they got WMDs, Al-Qaeda crashed a planes into the WTC Towers and made both towers entirely collapse including the buildings next door, buy shit don't save your money, everybody wanna be a celebrity, fuck the environment, fuck spiritual illumination, don't think, watch soap operas, smoke, get obese) for-real, we are ignorant fools, ignorant of ourselves and our place in the world.

The use of that word in popular culture is really a black American phenomenon, here in Australia we been accepting lots of refugees from Africa and the university I go to has the highest percentage of refugees attending than any other university in the state, Africans say they don't use that word, it is a white man's word and they never use it, its only when they arrive here and start getting immersed in American culture (which is largely inescapable and mostly bullshit spoon fed to the rest of the world) do they start adopting the slang, dress and use of the word in question, that is, "nigger" or "nigga".

I'm of Indonesian descent and I personnally use the word only rarely and consciously in private close company to either denegrate a friend for being ignorant or in a complimentary brotherly fashion or to complain about my own personal oppression like when im at work: "they just treat us like niggers here! Niggers!"

I'm not completely sure, the only thing I know about is that the "Voting Rights Act" was set to expire last year, but all that was for was to enforce the 15th amendment, which was supposed to give all men the right to vote.
