one of the most underrated producers

...No I.D. aka Immenslope
and I'm not just making this claims because he's from chicago and I ain't saying I hold him amongst the top 10 or shit like that but I think he has some great and some classic work under his belt. I hate the fact that he disappeared from the hip hop scene for so many time when he could be delivering hot material.
he's the godfather of chicago hip hop, he also does some good rapping, did most of the production on Common's first 3 albums (including the classic Resurrection), he's Kanye's mentor like stated by West in Last Call and Big Brother, helped Jermaine Dupri on the production tip for some time, did some great R&B joints, worked with Toni Braxton, DMX, Jaheim, Montell Jordan, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Jamie Foxx,  Daz Dillinger, Janet Jackson, John Legend, G-Unit and lately produced Sucess and Fallin for Jay-Z's American Gangster. he released an instrumental album and, in 97, a full-length album (accept your own and be yourself - the black album) with some hot fuckin joints like these:

State To State (Feat. Common and Dug Infinite)

Sky's The Limit

Mega Live (That's the Joint) (Feat. Dug Infinite and Syndicate)

hope he can be more active in the game
