Hawks to send 4 to Kings for Bibby
February 16, 2008

ATLANTA (AP) -- The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to acquire veteran point guard Mike Bibby from the Sacramento Kings.

Hawks owner Michael Gearon Jr. says the Hawks are to send four players to the Kings. Among them are 2007 first-round pick Shelden Williams and starting point guard Anthony Johnson.

The Hawks also would send guard Tyronn Lue and veteran forward-center Lorenzen Wright to the Kings.

Gearon says the deal is expected to be completed Saturday.

Bibby missed the start of the season with a thumb injury but is averaging 13.5 points and 5.0 assists in 15 games.

I like this trade. Beno was more effective then Bibby neways and this will free up more playing time for Douby\Garcia\Salmons..And we get a bunch of expioring contracts we can now make some moves in the offseason

Bibby, Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams, Josh Smith, Horford With Childress as a solid 6th man, not bad in the east.

Sounds like a pretty good deal for both teams. Udrih is playing great so they don't really need Bibby, and the Hawks got a PG without giving up any of their core players.

Damn...Good deal for both teams. Shelden Williams has been a let down, though. The Hawks have some serious talent now. They might even contend in the East. :o

Great Pickup..
Bibby is/has been one of the Most underated PG's in the game.
The hawk's Gonna make a Run  now in the East.

People talk about The west being wide Open, The east is spread Eagle Aswell.
Besides the Obvious Top 2, Shit is Anyones Spot to take.

i need assists in a different league; i dropped Tinsley and picked up Conley.
who's better to have, Udrih or Conley?
