Lol Phil Jackson does it again

Remember Popovich's comments about how there should be a trade committee? Well...

Perhaps the only surprise about the deal was the low, low price the defending NBA champion Spurs paid to acquire Thomas from the lackluster SuperSonics. San Antonio gave up Brent Barry, Francisco Elson and a first-round pick in 2009.

Coach Phil Jackson took a jab at SanAntonio coach Gregg Popovich, who had suggested a trade committee be formed to block lopsided deals such as the one Popovich believed the Lakers put over on the Memphis Grizzlies to get Gasol.

"I don't want to be on that committee. I hate committees," Jackson said. "No doubt P.J. would send (Thomas) to San Antonio without hesitation."

Jackson referred to Seattle coach P.J. Carlesimo, a former Spurs assistant.

Phil Jackson always got funny lines, even about his own players ... but Popovich lost even more with that trade.. Carlesimo was one of his assistants and I guess the Sonics waiving Barry is a pure coincidence too

lol@ Jedi mindtricks. Phil is more like that crazy crackhead on the corner babbling off the wall comments at a building. The media loves it because they wanna create a story. But in the end, its all just babble. Most of his comments right before, or during the playoffs are just a joke. The guy always runs off at the mouth about officials, and whines about certain players before or during series. Its all a ploy to try to get the officials on his side. Its sad really.
