Listed are who I think are the 6 best presidents to serve according to history for this situation. If you were to hope to see anyone on the ballot, who would it be.

Lincoln - a leader in war and a uniter. someone that saw the oppression of others, and felt empathy.
Eisenhower - a great general who also warned of the great miltary industry complex, and was a more moderate figure.
Reagan - someone who oozed hope, and wanted what's best for the country, cut taxes.
Roosevelt - a leader in war and uplifted a nation from depression. did whatever to stimulate the economy.
Kennedy - a fresh face, highly optimistic and called on people to do for their country.
Clinton - cut spending and balanced the budget, well increasing rich taxes, say hugh economical gains and time of peace.

We don't need a president to "lead us" we need a president to limit government and get out of the way of the people so that the free market can adjust to people's true wants and needs.  I think Harry Browne said Grover Cleveland was the best example of a Libertarian president but I can't remember.

According to Larry Nichols he was drug running vast amounts of cocaine from Arkansas

Plus, he authorised the bombing of a pharamaceutical factory in Sudan which of course was a "mistake".

In his last days of office he pardoned one of the most notorious drug barons in South America, out of the kindness of his heart I am sure.

However despite these little misdemeanours, no one is perfect right?

true, but I thought the Ron Paul people would like him, and besides, his seen pretty highly with a lot of America. You can say FDR ruin the country with socialist programs and Reagan saved us from them.
