So what do we think of Dillinger & young gotti????
« on: May 24, 2001, 04:45:14 PM »
Hmmmm, didn't see any threads about this one. What do we think of it? that is if you heard it. I have it on mp3 since I can't get it yet in holland.

I have to say I'm heavily disappointed, I expected alot more of this album. Instead of the upbeat Beats you expect of the Doggpound you get mellow beats that don't match with the DP-style.

This is a big blow for me,I was all hyped up and shit. I gonna wait for kurupts album now to see what he can do, his last album was off the heezy, hope this one is too.

man this album is HEATED imo. to me this shit is on the level of dogg food, but for 2001. production is futuristic, rhymes are on point. its album of the year for me until Contraversy drops.

fav tracks are Best Run, Shit Happens, Coastin, Gitta Strippin, whole album is on some other ish. Lovin it.

14 out of 19 (not counting the intro and outro is why there is 19 not 21) are dope as hell, then about 3are good, but not that special and there is about 3 shitty songs

This album is straight heat, not on the level of Dogg Food but the best westcoast release since 2001 and Streetz iz a Mutha.  The pussy songs could have been left off though  ;D

it was ok, i mean the beats were good but i dunno i wasn't really feelin' this album all too much...i think the Doggystyle release DPGC will be better, cuz dillinger and young gotti was missing 2 MAJOR things....snoop and Nate, to me a dogg pound album without snoop and nate is like a millionair without any money, it's empty
