I loved it..Peep this slept on M.C..The cover was a little morbid, but the album is upbeat and fun..Straight g funk.

great album. Stz'll Got It, Had to Be A Hustler, You Know Me and Eastside, Westside are classics. He's an aight rapper that obviously was very influenced by Dre but it works.

generic g-funk beats with a generic longbeach rapper. its cool if you've never heard warren g, twinz, foesum, dj quik, etc... or maybe if you're a huge g-funk afficionado, but it just sounds cheap and pails in comparison when neither the beats nor the rhymes can compete.

This album is one of the best (West Coast) G-Funk albums ever made according to me! The sound of the whole album is just on another level.. It's really pure G-funk to the fullest! Lil Half Dead ain't really that good of a rapper but his flow sure is amazing!

The best track from the album is "Had to Be a Hustler", check it out:

Anybody got that interview? This album is some classic Dogg Pound G-Funk shit, really rare too.

I agree completely. It's fine for what it is, but it's really for the G-funk fanboys that wanted every single album with a West Coast whistle and synth bass on the tracks.

i liked it, but i think this album was from 96' no? both of lil half deads albums are pretty dope, it would have been classic if he had any of dogg pound on there. i dont remember exact details, but i thought i remebered seeing a remix of one of half deads song with snoop on it. dont know if it was legit or not but oh well.

Nah, it was 94. His 2nd album, Steel on a Mission, was 96.

As for Snoop, I think you're talking about Still On A Mission (OG) which features him. It's pretty much the same as the one that made Dead Has Arisen, except for Snoop coming in with some "ooo wees" and "some of that sticky iky"

Stz'll Got It has a unique sound. It's one of the best songs I've heard out of the era and I've heard a lot. Half Dead most doesn't expand on the genre...so what? Neither did a lot of other cats. But his tracks are still good.

Oh yeah?

You know that track Pay Em or Spray Em? I think it's like the 2nd or 3rd rapper on the track...female rapper. Any info on her? is there a full version?

that beat is tight.
