i don't think they would have won if this trade would have went down or not. i mean you got to play defense to win championships, and no one on the suns do that. unless they're in a half court set with shaq and amare on the floor, shaq is a non factor on the floor with his presence on the defensive end.

The Suns would've won had it not been for Gasol. We tried the whole force feed Kwame crap but it failed miserably more than once. But now that they have Shaq the Suns are going to lose a lot more games. Nash can spoon feed Shaq all night but I'm sure any team would rather have Shaq get 20 dunks than to have Marion + Barbosa + Bell draining 3s.

How is possible to score 124 and still lose .. we could have score 140+ if Lamar didn't miss like 3,4 lay-ups .. the Suns still don't seem to realize you have to defend to win it all .. on the offensive end , the biggest plus is Amare gonna own the likes of Odom, Nowitzki but I agree with GangstaBoogy , I prefer a LOT more playing 1 on 1 D on Shaq and livin with the fact he may have 15-20 pts than Barbosa being more aggressive and Bell shooting spot up 3s ..

Than allow Shaq to deliver a Gurantee High % Slam Dunk/Lay up/hook inside in the paint.

The thing is, Shaq being Doubled will free those shooters Up.
And A lob or an Inside pass is almost always The Next move Once the defense Runs to protect For the three.

In my opinion, the Lakers are clearly the better team.  And that's before either the LA or PHX trade.  I've been saying that for weeks, even made a thread about it.  After the trade, the story is the same - and especially when Bynum gets back it'll prolly be even more lopsided.
