At the end of the season, I think the teams that will end up having the best starting rotation will be the Brewers and the Angels.

I'm interested to hear why you think the brew crew will have the best starting rotation by the end of the year.  Because Ben Sheets has about an ice cubes chance in hell of staying healthy for a whole season.

Mets probably have the best rotation.

I'm hoping Burnett stays healthy and the Jays rotation can play well this year.

I like our rotation this year. If Bedard doesn't get it done for us I'll hunt him down. Felix has showed flashes of brilliance but hasn't been the most consistent, i'm hoping he can put it all together this year. Miguel was decent last year as was Washburn, it's kind of up in the air but i'm thinking it's gonna be a much better year for our starters.

I think the Pads staff is criminally overrated.  Even though Peavy IMO is the best pitcher in baseball today, I'm not sold on Chris Young.  I think the 2nd half Chris Young is the real Chris Young.  Maddux is what in his 40th season at the age of 62 ?  Randy Wolf yea lol.

peavy is a top 3 pitcher (santana and beckett)

chris young is a solid #2

maddux may be old but he probably teaches everyone on that staff something from his years of experience. and maddux is top 10 all time he can retire on his own terms.

they lose Linebrink which is a big loss but they sitll have Mr Stat Paddler Trevor Coughman in the bullpen

you don't have to worry about him unless its a pressure situation ;)

I was talking just about the starting rotation not the whole staff.  But has Hoffman ever saved a semi important game in his life ?  He even blew the all star game in 06 lol.

As long as he pitches really good for at least 140 innings, the Brewers will be in good shape.  The biggest x-factor for the Brewers will be Carlos Villanueva.  Are they going to send him to AAA to get more innings as a Starter there?  Continue as a reliever?  Or what I hope, continue his his role as a starter like the end of last season where he maintained an ERA of under 2.20.  Also, I expect Yovani Gallardo to have a fantastic year.  A Sheets-Villanueva-Gallardo trio would clearly put it on top, and the rest of the staff is full of average or around average type pitchers.  It might not happen, but I wouldn't be completely surprised if the Brewers starting rotation becomes really dominant.
