Death Row tearing shit up.
« on: May 22, 2001, 08:07:53 AM »
Damn Death Row are making people trip.

I can't believe soo many people are hating... you sound just as bad as they do.

I'm not saying I'm a Death Row supporter(or dick rider 'call it want you want') understand that I disagree with things like the continued dissing/sniping campaigns against ex-inmates

But.. they are making moves and dropping shit - one thing they have been critiscised about.

Hating for no reason on the things they do that are unrelated to the sniping most people are concerned with makes you a hypocrite.

Check yourselves... you're just fans.. and at the end of the day the music and enjoyment from that is the most important.

Remixing tracks and adding your new artists on your recorld label is bullshit. Death Row is now a fucked up record label, the end.

This wasn't aimed at anyone, there have been a lot of posts.. I wanted to post my perspective, and I know I'm not the only one who feels this way.

People have moaned about them not releasing old DPG stuff for ages.. now they are being forced to do it (from the case Kurupts former managers won against them) people are still moaning about it.

Death Row will not be sinking from the game.. believe that.

i agree with that, but you gotta realize those people wanted the old DPG stuff how it was, not remixed etc

same with the 'new' tupac albums, i know some people like them, but I would much rather they released the songs how Pac had them when he was there, rather than try and guess his artistic vision. even if they were unfinished, i mean when i heard those makaveli bootlegs i was like wow. when i heard the new albums i thought damn that sucks.

okay, releasing old versions wouldnt be as appealing to commercial fans, thats the obvious reason they're doing what they are, all about the paper.

if they released the shit just how it was, im sure those people that had been moaning would be happy.

*IMO*

i will admit i am hatin........

i justify my hatin cause of lots of proven facts

the keep fuckin with Dre and Snoop
another black man(suge) trying to put another black man down(dre&Snoop and others)  for doing there own thing..pisses me off as a black man...LOL did that make sense?

He Fucked 2pac out of his earnings even after he is dead........

He is not advancing the art form of hip hop music.
He resorts to bullying to get his point which leaves a dark spot on the hip hop culture as well as black owned companies.  Spreads rumors as if he was in high school.  The list can go on...........

I guess my point is, he will not succed in raising dead row to its once high position unless he changes his ways.  I really doubt any major record lable meaning the top 5 Companies  Like BMG and the rest, will have anything to do with them.  They might even try to block suge from releasing his music cause he has burnt so many bridges.  There are a gang of people that want him dead.  He gets mad at another person for doing there own thing making there own money.  Messin with J.Lo?  what is that?  How low can you go?  Only thing they are tearing up is bridges behine them.

yeah Crooked I might come out, but what type of distribution does he have?  Crooked I on Universal, or Crooked I on BMG, or Sony...or any other label....He would of blown up by now maybe on his second cd.  Imagine Crooked I with the right people pushing him.  I dont see how death row has done anything positive in the last what 7 8 years?  Eating off past artist and remixing songs is bad.  Yeah it is a must for those of use that want unrelease shit, but that is a given.]

actually...i dont call it hatin....
it is just hard to show respect for another man, no matter what race they are...when they keep doing fowl shit...
If a person does fowl shit, that person is going to get criticism.  Whether that criticism is considered hating, is up to that person.   But if you are going doing something that you know is Fowl, you should expect backlash................ :-X

I think whats buggin me is.. people are putting more energy into dissing Death Row over things that have been said hundreds of time (just like we know Death Row do) - people seem to launch into a 'i hate death row more than you debate' and the actual topic of discussion gets lost. i.e.. is this shit gonna be good?

Like snoop said on Lay Low "Unseen but well heard, do not disturb" - meaning they always gonna talk shit but.. dont lower yourselves to their level - don't acknowledge them.. they seem to revel in spreading these rumours.. if they dont think they're doing any good.. they wont put energy into them.. they are already becoming ridiculed for the amount of rumouring and meddling they are into.

It's funny, because as long as Death Row has good talent, I'll support them. Crooked I is going to rip shit up. Now when Tha Realest and Top Dogg were their main acts, I was like fuck this, but Suge was in jail then. Now Crooker I, and if pushed right, Swoop G (Though Snoop already wiped his ass, so this boy needs to shut up about Snoop already) can both be stars. I don't hate Death Row, and I wished they'd release some of there old shit. Hell I gave Suge money for the Chronic, Doggystyle, Dogg Food, Murder Was the Case, Above the Rim and All Eyez On Me, I'm use to the idea. So I don't hate them, hell Cold187um is one of my favorite producers. I just don't like all of their sound-a-likes. That was stupit as fuck, did they thing we were stupit or something to be fooled by some boy who thinks his 'Pac, and another that tried his hardest to be the real Top Dogg. That's what I hate.

I don't think so ... i mean they didn't really start pestering him till The Last Meal was released or just to be released, hence the track woulda been done already

lee.. they've been on snoops nuts for a long long time..

they jacked cindafella for their chronic 2000 album and had top dogg do it.. so snoop and top dogg had almost the same song. and they had lots of disses to snoop on chronic 2000.

the only reason snoop hasnt fought back earlier is because Master P wouldnt let him.. he was pushing for beef free stuff.
there are disses out there.. like Deathrow Is Bitches and that unreleased version of Gangsta Walk where he disses Lil C-Style and Swoop G
