Suge in danger when he gets out??????
« on: May 20, 2001, 06:44:03 PM »
I was listening to The Beat and a commercial came on talking about how badly Suge's enemies wanna kill them and at what stakes they would go through to do so.

For those that live in Southern California there is suppose to be a special on FOX 11 news tonight @ 11:00pm.

well, he'll get what he deserves imo

if the tales are true, you cant go around your whole life doing shit like that and not expect retaliation

if the tales are all false, he can go home, run his business, and live a prosperous life.

we'll see

(jacked from Uncut2000.com)

KTTV Channel 11 in Los Angeles had a big segment on Death Row Records. The big news is that Suge Knight will NOT be coming home "before July", according to the segment. However, the segment also mentioned that Knight WILL be out before the summer. Knight is currently serving his federal time at Sacramento County Jail.

Knight has done some good things while being locked up. He donated $21,000 to rebuild a playground. "He put his money where his mouth was," said Jonathon Wolfson, Death Row spokesmen.

The segment touched on Michael Harris, an ex-drug dealer who claims that Knight bought and used people. Harris claims that Knight wanted 1.5 million to purchase half the company off him in the past. Knight claims that Harris is a rat and it's untrue. A segment is being done by Xenon Films on Death Row Records that Knight does not approve of. Harris also claims that when Knight touches the streets a lot of people are out to get him. He claims that Knight has tampered with too many people as far as Bloods (a street gang) go, and that the Bloods and even some Crips want to get him when he gets free.

As far as the Bromfield lawsuit over Kurupt, the Broomfield's were awarded $14 million dollars by the judge. The suit was awarded to the Brumfield's because they claim they managed Kurupt when he recorded for Death Row and never recieved any dues. Knight claims that he never knew that they were managing the artist. However, the judge later reduced the suit to $5 million. The case is currently being appealed. Death Row is now being represented by Robert Shapperio. The Brumfield's lawyer said he will be happy when Suge gets out because he will be able to negoiate the terms of the lawsuit much easier.

Knight said that Death Row will return to the status that it once was this year. The segment mentioned that Death Row already struck it big with it's release of Tupac's "Until The End Of Time." The program mentioned that the album is already certified platinum. The company has a Dogg Pound album planned for later this year, as well as the debut release of Crooked I and another Tupac album on the way. Suge Knight says he will not only have the albums selling, but he will be locking down the movie industry with his self-owned SUGE KNIGHT FILMS.

The segment touched on former Death Row rapper Snoop Dogg. "I dont wanna be a part of no gang related, drug infected, jail, label" Snoop said. The program also reported that Snoop is hiring extra security when Suge gets out. According to the segment, Snoop's "The Last Meal" has sold over 2 million units.
