My name would be my old nickname, Scrappy. I've heard Snoop talk about someone name Scrappy, but I've had it since I was 12, I'm 20 now, so I think I got some say in the name. And actually, I would try to come out as a solo artist, as Scrappy doesn't sound like a solo rappers name. I'm talking to my friend, and producer, to think of a name for a group.

haha...nah to tell you the truth narrator i hadnt read that post yet.....but metaphors, similies, assimilation etc have been  common place in hip hop for years (i mean , just listen to a de la soul record for proof)

as for my name....its kinda a goofy story how i got it...

when i was a kid i used to try and cipher with my brother and his friends (all i wanted to do was be down) and i heard them sayin stuff on the mic like "im the Cremedelacrem" so i tried to rhyme like  them and be like them and i asked this one cat what it meant and he said
"the best" so i wanted it as my name.....only problem was my lil young ass couldnt even pronounce it right and id say "cremedelaCLEM"

anyway....that used to make everyone laugh and it just stuck!

mind you tho, no body calls me that but my brother now, its either Crem or OsKa these days....

i dont think ive ever heard tribe say my name (and i dont know them!) but if by some bizzare and highly unlikely twist of fate they shouted me out on a record then im flattered, big up atcq!.....if they dissed me FUCK ATCQ!
