I was readin' "Have Gun Will Travel: The Spectacular Rise and Violent Fall Of Death Row Records" and saw Warren talkin' 'bout how he made Tha Row. I don't understand where this came from. All he did was slide Dre a 213 tape. It was Dre's choice 2 run wit' it. He acts like he signed everybody 2 the label. Dre, D.O.C., & Michel'le were already there. Kurupt was brought in by his manager at the time. Rage was called by Dre. And Daz & RBX were put down by there cousin Snoop. I like G-Child, but this n*gga acts like he was the brains behind The Chronic & Doggystyle. His biggest hit was "Regulate", and that was a song originally made for Nate Dogg's album. And Nate said this himself in the book. He also said "Ain't No Fun" was his 2. Y'all should pick up that book if you can find it. It talks about all of the rumors that n*ggas argue about. It didn't confirm that Suge slapped Snoop like everybody claims. But it did say he slapped Warren and a lot of other n*ggas.

Dre found Kurupt. He said to Kurupt that he'd sign him if he could beat the other guy in a freestyle competition. If not, Dre would throw his ass into the pool beside them. Kurupt won and it was all gravy from then on.

all the book said was that warren made those comments to the source during an interview where he was faded as fuck. he later retracted all the comments even tho the source still printed them.

didnt suge find jewell and danny boy? i cant remember

I believe it was 15 mc's Kurupt had to battle and he beat everyone, damn he's my favorite and people wonder why. and Dre discovered Jewell. Warren G did more than you think but he didn't make the label,that was Dre fo sho,peace-Tanjint

He didn't make it but if he hadn't slipped that tape to Dre then DR might not got as big as it did
You shouldn't go mad at Warren for that - he was wasted
At least Dre forgave him - unlike Royce
