The sequel to FUCK! Just failed my driving test... is here. I did it this time around!

Examinator was really cool and laid back; a man who's originally from Amsterdam but now lives in Deventer. He thought the whole psychology/sociology stuff I study was kinda cool so we got along nicely, had some nice discussions while driving all through the area. It was cool. Very cool. And the relief afterwards was... Undescribable.

That sucks! How much does it cost you to do another driving test?

It totalled €422,- (200 for a new test, and 222 for the 6 lessons I've had since then). Then another €46,50 for the actual license.

Yeah homies! The road will be getting a tad bit busier from now on

Yup. I started taking lessons in Deventer last summer, before I moved to Amsterdam. I never bothered to switch to start taking lessons in Amsterdam because of the difference in traffic between these two cities. In Deventer, the average person needs like 35 lessons before they'll be ready for an exam, while in Amsterdam it's remarkably much more, and probably more expensive as well. Note that it took me 48 lessons, one practising test and two exams before I finally passed...

47 x €37 for the driving lessons (the first one was free)
1 x €31,40 for the theory exam
1 x €170 for the practising test
1 x €20 for a health certificate
2 x €200 for the exams
1 x €46,50 for the actual license (in Amsterdam... with €62,- Deventer would have been more expensive actually)

Adding up to a solid €2,406.90

Who dare say life is cheap in the country?
