High Powered Entertainment presents : 21 Gun Salute Compilation

There are definitely some Seattle cats making some noise in a big way. Seattle beat crew High Powered Entertainment have put together an above average compilation album to introduce their beatmakers to the game.
High Powered managed to get some of the biggest names in West Coast gangsta to come spit on 21 Gun Salute – Daz, Yukmouth, Brotha Lynch Hung, the Outlawz, Spice-1 and B-Legit, just to name a few.
With John Silva the main man on the boards, with occasional assists from Beezie 2K, One Drop Scott and Wingo, High Powered has staked their claim as one Seattle’s best sources for West Coast gangsta funk. Honestly this is some of the best production I’ve heard coming out of the area to date.
“21 Gun Salute” features Daz, C-Bo and Yukmouth getting filthy on Silva’s beat, spittin’ that gangsta game we all love them for.

JT The Bigga Figga, Cosmo and 151 break down the biz on “Thug Entreprenuer.” Y’all could do a lot worse than listening to JT when it comes to making money in the music biz, the cat is rolling with long dough on the independent tip.
“Life” finds The Outlawz carrying on Pac’s legacy in capable fashion, giving you more of that thug knowledge you gotta have to survive these days.
Local rhyme spitter Karizma shows up on “Thug Religion,” with Killa Tay and Hollowpoint, offering some wisdom for all them cats still on the grind and in the street.
If gangsta is your game, then “21 Gun Salute” is your soundtrack. The mix of great production with some of the dopest underground gangstas makes for ill ish to bump in your lolo. If gangsta ain’t your game, well, the beats are good enough to make this worth the money. For you Seattle MCs looking for someone to man the boards while you do your thing, you might want to holler at these cats.
