yeah T-Pain and none of the new cats you mentioned use the Talk Box.. they use auto tune which is a $99 plug-in for pro tools. The talk box is an actual art to use.

You can use a piece of rack-mounted hardware live that is the same thing as Auto-Tune.

auto tune makes a hardware plug in yes...
you still have to put in work using auto tune.. CHER started it all... but you have to know about singing to get a Great Auto tune effect also u cant just use auto tune and think ur going to sound like T pain your shits going to sound madd SHAKEY so u have to do alot of tweaking to get it right Post production


the majority of modern day music went electronic.. the 90 grimey/sampling thing went out the window ..  and it was always cool to change up your voice people used to do it back in the days with cassette tapes doing chip munk shit thinking it was cool
