from the bull shit i was hearing that suge was doing...i was thinkin it was a smart move.....
he wants to do his own thing...cant get mad at someone for wanted to have there OWN company, so they can do there own rules.....
i know about dre now then i did when he left.....and knowing that he is sooo much more Into his music, and not into all the other stuff.....makes it a smarter move by him.....
the good doc cant work if there is all these knucklehead gang bangers.and wannabe's all up in his studio, like it as at death row...the man probably couldnt think straight there..so he bounced..........
bounced right into 2001 Up in Smoke baby...

He is working much more and more professional than in his DR days. He probably couldn't work with alot of artist because of his affiliation with DR or Suge wouldn't let him. Now he is his own man.

Well, At The Time, I Hadn't Seen Him Do Much At All (Except Natural Born Killaz, Keep Their Heads Ringin, And Cali Love) In 2 Years, So I Was Excited That He Was Getting His Stuff Together.

To be perfectly honest, I was like "yo Dre, what the fuck are you doing?" Death Row was hotter than fuck, they finally signed 2Pac and everything they ever touch was staight platnum. But at the time I heard he got married, in interveiws I saw at the time, I noticed he was actually wearing colors, and not just black, so in that I thought he might be happier in life. After Eazy E died, Dre seemed to be more life like in the public eye. I originally thought Dre was leaving the rap game because he had some revolation that gangsta life is not for him anymore. I just figured SnoopDoggyDogg would fall off a little, but as long as 'Pac's around, things would be alright. The rest you all know.

Yea, I felt like it was a dumb choice..Mostly because I knew Death Row was on top and I was young...
