Yo, have any of y'all heard this dude from Canada? I think his songs are tight. I know he ain't the best lyrically but I love this guys style.

I was wonderin if any of y'all know who does the production for that song "Bakardi Slang"? The beat is sizzlin'.

When is his album dropping?

It's funny, the first time I ever heard of Eminem, was in the 'About To Blow' section of Rap Pages way back in the summer of 98.   And guess who was on the next page of 'About To Blow', Kardinal Official.  He's kind of like Royce Da 5'9" where everyone says he's about to blow and years later we're still waiting for his album to drop.

He has one dropping called Firestarter Volume 1. I have heard 2 tracks and I love both of them. I hope he blows up cause this nigga is tight.

I've been tellin' ya'll about Kardi for at least a month now, no one seemed to care at the time.  He's mad ill and comes correct on the M-I-C.  I'm from just outside of Toronto and I've been bumpin' his shit for a while now.  His first single on an indie label was "Husslin'" which was tight, and I think is on his new LP, which is in stores around here.  I see it all the time at FutureShop, HMV, Sam's and Music World.  I even picked him up in the "Fantasy Rap LAbel"Game (which unfortunately I never had time to finish a final compilation due to a family tragedy).  You guys sleep on cats from up here.  Trust me Canada has a lot of straight up, off the hook rappers.  It seems almost as if you have an ignorance towards Canada just because we're not divided into a East/West feel in our raps.  Just listen to Northern Touch(cats from all over Canada were on this and I believe they've toured together with Much Loud or something like that).  Fuck, one guy seems to give him recognition that lives outside of Canada,(I say this because I'm assuming that Da_Assassin is from outside Canada with his opening sentence, and I know that Swookillah mentioned him before too but I'm pretty sure he said he's from Canada), and now all these people have replied givin' him love.  And everyone says they're not mainstream in this forum.  At one point Kardi wasn't mainstream, now he is and now you're finally givin' him the respect he deserves.

Yo I remember that post about Canadian rappers. I never peeped him until my friend told me about him and then I saw his video on Rap City. Much love Chill for showin him love before.

BTW, What are some other rappers/groups from Canada? If I'm feelin Kardinal then ohers should be tight.
