Kansas City rap is pretty wack for the most part, trust me, me and Infinite live here.  of course tech9ne is tight but thats about it.  Although my boy had me listen to Lujo not to long ago and I liked that.  The one major thing that holds back KC rap is the crappy production.

I'm with my homie waterproof MC, we both live here in KC and roll together, been hip-hop heads most our life, and it's to the point now that I don't even give this bullshit a chance.  After hearing Tech 9 on Sway and Tech's "The Anthem" I was interested in the scene around KC, but I quickly came back to my senses.  It's wack, the production is cheap, and the lyrics are played out.

yo surgeon general are you from KC? can you post some other emcees from there that I should give a chance.  The only reason I am trying this hard to like the scene here is obviously because I live here, and I would be nice to enjoy musci where I live
