the truth bout suge, dre and death row
«

ayo, fellow funk lovers. no, I ain't left u. ill keep posting every once in a while as long as everyone quits speculating and guessing as to who I am. please keep that stuff to yourselves. I don't want to address it anymore. I just want to keep y'all muthafuckaz informed. this post is a very long one but if you take the time to read it you will be rewarded. its my perspective on the truth about death row, suge and dr. dre. and again it is only my opinion. not dre’s. not suges. not aftermath and not death row. but with all of the lies and disrespect coming out of suge and death row its time for the truth. i’m tired of suge getting credit for stuff he does not deserve. this is the only time I will address it as suge doesn’t even deserve this amount of time. but its time to let you all
know the truth about suge. this post will probably consists of one post and then a couple of replies from me. do keep reading them for the full story.
has prison changed suge? I was hoping it would but realistically I knew it probably wouldn't. and when I heard of suge's comments on bet it confirmed that suge hasn't really changed. the fact that
if suge slips up again he will go away for a very long time may stop him from his violence and intimidation tactics. but I doubt it. I truly hope he shuts his mouth and concentrates on putting out quality music. but again I doubt it. dres incredible success and legendary status has to be eating away at suge. if suge didn't have pacs old songs he and death row would be dead. the non 2pac albums since snoop left have all been flops. the pressure is on suge now because there is only 1 more 2 pac album left. and with the
smaller sales numbers for this one it shows mainstream interest in pac is slowing down. and afeni gets a lot of the proceeds anyhow. death row's new distribution company is not real successful and not anywhere as powerful as dres(universal is the largest record company in the world). if crooked I or someone else doesn't blow up death row is in trouble. if suge's as talented as he thinks he is he better prove it soon. cause without a non-2pac hit soon the money he makes from
2pac is gonna disappear and death row may pull a flat line within 2 or 3 years. we’ll have to wait and see. suge deserves a chance as it is hard to run a business behind bars. but no matter what suge does or says he can't stop dre. he cannot beat dre. this fact has to be fucking up suge's ego. right now dre's destroying suge in sales and virtually everything else. but worst of all dre is proving that he was the reason for the success of death row, not suge. dre brought in all of death rows original talent.... jewell and snoop off the bat. then he brought rage and kurupt from east and snoop helped him to bring in warren g , nate dogg, daz and rbx. dre brought in all of the musicians. these
guys, led by dre's vison and expertise at making a record created the chronic album. to suge's credit he funded the recording sessions. and suge deserves credit for getting dre released from ruthless. but suge did not get a record deal for death row with his talent. every label turned them down. interscope was the last hope and jimmy iovine gave them a deal because he realized dre's album was revolutionary and would change music. after that suge used violence and intimidation to get things. so suge definetly deserves some credit for getting death row started but without dre's talent and dre’s ability to find talent (i.e. the original inmates, who definetly deserve a lot of
credit, too)suge would have had no product to push or build a business around. dre and the inmates is the reason death row blew up. so like nate dogg says, “death row ain’t shit without dr. dre". and that is a fact.

suge cant rap or produce. he has no musical talent. he does have a good business sense but his only real talent was using violence and intimidation and ripping his artists off. if you look at virtually all of death rows albums suge gets executive producer credit AND publishing credit. since dre was co-owner he was allowed to have his own publishing rights. but all of the other artists did not. suge got their publishing rights even though he didn’t write a rhyme or produce a song. as an artist a majority of your money comes from publishing. and except for suge and dre no one else got any credit for their work. does
dre deserve some blame for this happening? yes he does because he was co-owner with suge and had a chance to prevent that from happening. but in reality , make no mistake, suge was running the business and everyone
including dre had no say. dre was in charge of the music because suge couldn’t make any hits on his own. but other than that all business decisions and financial decisions were suge. and as time when by dre and the artists had virtually no influence over things going on. suge became al capone. he was raking in a lot of money. dre was doing
well too, but not getting near what he was suppose to. suge would buy the “inmates” cars, gifts, sometimes a house and would pay all the artists court fees. now you might say that is gracious of suge. but when suge was taking virtually all of the artists rightful money these gifts were pretty cheap in return for what he was getting. at first
people like rbx, daz, and j-flex blamed dre for ripping them off but after they learned suge was doing it they left and quit acusing dre. thats why all of the original inmates, producers and musicians are gone.and it wasn’t easy for them to do because a)they had a contract that suge would refuse to release them from without getting a lot of
money and b)they were scared shitless of what suge would do to them if they left. but all of them (snoop, nate, warren, rage, kurupt, jewell and later daz) finally stood upand got out of the fucked up situation they were in. some of you may say im lying about suge ripping everyone off. but just look at the facts. none of the original
inmates are there anymore. kurupt recently won a multimillion dollar lawsuit from suge. afeni shakur won a lawsuit and co-rights to all of pac’s remaining releases. and Wednesday dre won a settlement of approx 20 million dollars because while at death row accountants allowed people to steal millions of dre's money. and suge knew this was going on because he condoned and probably participated in it. I can say this because in the events leading up to the trial suge and the death row attorneys pleaded the fifth
amendment because it would have incriminated them if they testified. in other words, if they would have testified it
would have shown they were involved in ripping dre off and guilty of the same things the accounting firm was. snoop also won a smaller settlement last year in an identical yet separate trial. . behind closed doors if you asked any of the original inmates if suge robbed them and betrayed them they would all admit that he did. at first they could live with it because of the fame and the amounts of money they did get. but after while they realized how bad they were getting played and left, most of them after suges imprisionment because they were very scared to do it while suge was free.

so there is proof suge was ripping people off and yes that includes 2pac. before his death 2 pac was virtually broke except for the jewelry, and cars and other gifts from suge. and yes many people agree that pac was strongly thinking about leaving the row. we will never know if that was true or not, but many people have claimed that was the case. suge denies that of course. now I must clarify that I do not believe suge HAD ANYTHING to do with pac’s death. but if pac was leaving that would leave a scenario in which he may have. if pac had left suge and death row would have crumbled. because with every one of their stars gone, no 2pac meant no stars and no money. but when pac died that assured that his material would stay
with suge and suge would make millions off pac’s death. and since the case of 2pacs death has never been solved you cannot rule out suge having something to do with it. all the witnesses were and still are silent.so that means they are scared to testify because of
somebody out there. and remember the one person who was going to testify was murdered. but since its doubtful we
will ever know who killed 2pac its not really fair to speculate on who is responsible.and it would be unfair to suge to accuse him of participating in pacs murder. but a lot of things raise some serious questions.just think about it. no matter what we cannot bring pac back. i wish 2pac had never joined death row.i think he’d still be alive. plus 2pac
wasn’t this complete thug his like his last year or two on record showed. pac truly was a very loving and caring individual. he was a tormented soul who was not as strong as his thug life image made some people think he was. there was a sadness to him that you couldsee in his eyes and on some of his songs.and especially his poems. his last
few albums and his behavior was very sad to see. he was trying to be someone he really wasn’t. I will never question suge’s respect and admiration for pac but suge clearly used him. he used pac to make him rich and to keep his label alive. he used him as his mouthpiece to spit venom and start rumors about dre, biggie, etc. he so wanted to
please suge and to live up to suge’s image he would do anything to gain suge’s respect. like most people under suge he was not strong enough to say no. pac tried so hard to be as bad ass as suge it made him do and say things he really didn’t believe in.. tupac dissed dre when he did not know
him at all. yet because suge hated dre and asked pac to spread the dre is gay lie he did it. pac did anything suge wanted. to dre’s credit he has never said a bad word about pac. ever. and to do that after all pac did to him that says something about dre’s character. he knew suge had put PAC up to all that so he did not blame 2 pac. but
every man is responsible for his own actions and what pac did to dre after dre had given him his biggest hit was very disappointing. the death row 2pac was not the real tupac shakur. pac was pretending to be someone he wasn’t and that cost him his life.
and unfortunately, suge and afeni are using every single 2 pac song to make money. thats why i refuse to buy these albums. they are mostly material pac would have never released. the reason these albums come out is not to do it for pac’s sake.it
is to make as much money off his death as possible .it saddens me what people have done since pac died. pac deserved much better than this. he should not have died to make other people rich. so r.i.p. pac,
we miss you. .

now lets move on to another suge “lie”ght. he says dre and snoop left death row because they were jealous of 2pac.
sure dre and snoop were probably not real happy that suge spent all his time and promotion with pac. but they were
so respectful of pac it didn’t really bother them. the reason dre left is way deeper than that. the first couple years of
death row dre had a great time and ate up the bad boy reputation. but the business and music part was still being done the right way. lets not forget this was also during dre’s rough 3 or 4 year stretch after his brother died. tyree’s death was a huge blow and crushed dre in a way people will never know. he didn’t tell anybody outside his family
and close friends. the media never caught this fact until dre announced it in vibe magazine 7 years after his death.
Dre keep all his pent up sadness and grief inside him and he started to lose control. dre didn’t give a fuck and he was getting into some trouble. if you listen to 100 miles and runnin and efil4zaggin(which were recorded after tyrees death) you can hear and sense the anger in his voice as he rapped. dres flow was harder than its ever been and he was saying some pretty controversial and sometimes heartless things. plus he was pretty broke before chronic blew up because of the way ruthless took advantage of him. but once chronic and doggystyle blew up
things changed. suge really was turning into al capone. death row was a VERY dangerous place. suge led the example and condoned, advocated and participated in violence, both in the death row offices and studios as well as
the street. its was like 1920’s Chicago. suge and the large number of gang members inhabiting the studio led to fights and beatdowns every day. suge used brutal tactics and sheer terror to enforce his power and dictatorship over the artists and employees. if you were late to a meeting you might get beat down. if you came to the studio and tried to audition for a contract you got beat down if you weren’t good. if anyone questioned suge’s decisions, rules,
authority or power you were in big trouble. if you didn’t carry a gun you were risking your life. people got beat down and a couple people even died when suge and his associates were around. now I’m not saying suge is responsible for other peoples actions but he was definitely not preventing things from happening. and like it or not
even though he wasn’t participating dre knew he was accountable and partially responsible for the things going on because he was co-owner. this fact started eating at him. suge and 2pac said dre was lazy cause he wasn’t
producing many tracks. thats cause dre avoided the death row studios because of the violence.he would work at home in his recording studio. and when he was in the death row studios he separated himself from everything else. instead of an organized and legitimate business death row become a war zone with people around that should not
be in a business. the inmates were running the asylum and suge was running a business doomed to fail. in fact a federal grand jury is still looking into suge and death row for various illegal activities. even though it has not come up with anything to charge suge with it is still ongoing. the fun of working on music was gone and dre was getting
a guilty conscious for all the things going on that he was in a position to stop but couldn’t. when he went to jail for 6 months, and eazy died dre sat back and decided it was time to change. it was time to grow up, get his shit
together, be a man and leave death row. dre avoided snoops trial because of the death threats suge and other death row associates were putting on him. when dre left death row he left millions in ownership and copyrights
behind.he definitely took some money with him but not the 70 or 80 million he was entitled to for being co owner.
but like dre said he left with peace of mind and freedom. I respect dre for leaving millions behind for the chance to
break away from the negativity of death row. and to be his own man. now dre’s getting what he deserved with his incredible success with aftermath. but dre had to give up the master recordings of every thing he did with death row(even though there is now an agreement that death row can never use any of dres material). dre was fearing for
his families safety after leaving and it came to a head when suge and 10 “asociates” showed up at dres door to get the recordings back. fortunately dre stood up to suge and the two parted peaceful. but as you know suge has been after dre ever since.

the bet interview showed that suge's jealousy and hatred toward dre is at an all time high. since dre left death row suge has had a personal mission to destroy him. it started with the gay rumors in which suge used pac to get that rumor really out there. the thing suge really wanted to happen was for dre to fall flat on his face after leaving the row. once dre started to blow up in 99 suge had the artists on death row (suge's puppets)turn up the heat on the gay rumors and the weak
disses with chronic 2000.when dre really blew up last year another record of mostly disses was released. both were huge flops, especially too gangsta which has yet to hit the 50000 mark.suge also had many interviews where he threw out the gay rumors and started to question dres street
rep. the whole time suge was in jail he was threatening, dissing and spreading lies about dre and snoop.and remember virtually all or none of the guys persuaded by suge to do the disses had never even met snoop or dre. but just like slaves they did and said whatever suge told them to do.he had gang members attend almost every public appearance they attended. suge has tried
everything to bring dre down. but it hasn't worked at all. now suge seemingly realized that virtually nobody believes the gay rumors and that attacking dre that way wasn't going to work. maybe its the fact that dre is married with 3 kids. maybe it was the fact that suge's wife michel'le is
the mother of another of dres children. this fact makes suge look pretty stupid. now suge thinks his only shot at destroying dre is to attack his street credibility and his “blackness”. I heard that suge claimed on bet that dre told him he wanted to be white more than anything else in life and that dre asked suge to turn him white. when I heard that I laughed. that is without a doubt one of
the stupidest claims I have ever heard. anybody who believes that story should be shot. that shot at dre was really weak and makes suge look like a stupid man willing to say anything to destroy his former friend. it makes suge look very desperate. anybody who knows dre knows that he is as
proud as anyone to be black. dre employs almost all African Americans at aftermath. but dre looks at peoples talents not skin color. if a white or Hispanic artist, producer, engineer, whatever is able to help dre be successful hes willing to give them a fair chance. but make no mistake. dre helps
100's of blacks get jobs. to question dre's "blackness" because of these things is sad. and his wife is definitely black. dre is extremely proud that he is one of the most successful black artists and producers and a powerful black man in Hollywood.

now lets look at suges story of dre not having street cred .suge believes that unless your in a gang, have a big criminal record and have killed or hurt somebody you are soft and have no street cred. suge doesn’t help black people he brings them down.he basically hires slaves to serve him and make him money. he rips off his artists for personal gain. he hates some of his own people more
than a skinhead does. and this is truly sad because suge had a chance to help brothers in many ways. but hes failed most of the time. suge is NOT a hero, he blew his chance. dre IS a hero. growing up in Compton he avoided gangs, drugs, selling drugs and crime to focus on doing something positive and doing what he loved - music. he has transcended music and runs a hugely
successful and legitimate business. he gives back and looks past color or situation. he looks at character and talent. he has made a lot of mistakes but has changed and is now a good husband and father. if dre is looked down on because this makes him “soft” or has no “street rep” that is a sad reflection on brothers in the inner city. suge and everyone who lives for street rep can have it. street rep only gets brothas killed or in jail or kills innocent people. and its evident that suge's
jealousy and hatred is so strong hes getting ridiculous. he is obsessed at destroying dre. he wants to bring dre down so bad he’s trying everything. but he can't do it. he cannot beat dre. dre’s made over 50 million the last 2 years alone. aftermath will soon be more powerful than death row ever was. dre is close to or has already signed a distribution and recording contract with interscope/universal that is around 9 figures. like I said dre’s success has got to be Fuckin up suge’s ego. and thats why I do fear for dre and snoops life. when suge realizes the only way to
beat dre is to kill him then thats when something might happen. thats why I truly hope suge does things the right way, leaves the past alone and stops dissing dre behind his back. but unfortunately I don’t think suge will. whats the difference between dr. dre and suge knight? dre is a man who is doing positive things and is a legendary record producer and artist who is a true genius and whose music and accomplishments will stand on their own. suge knight is a lying, backstabbing person doing negative things. suge is not a legend he is a myth built on lies and rumors. to me his actions and
words make him a coward. if he decided to try and kill dre or snoop I guarantee he would hire somebody else to do it. he would not be man enough to do it himself. dre would be willing to stand up as a man and protect his family by killing or being willing to die to keep them safe. but lets all hope and pray for dre and snoops safety. lets also pray for suge that he changes his ways
and starts brand new. like nate dogg sings on “never too late” (the last track on g-funk classics vol.2 which is a song addressed to suge) it’s “never to late to come back to where you come from”. but no matter what suge does from here on he will someday pay dearly for the hurt and pain he has caused others. karma will come back to get you. you can’t escape it. it will come back to get you in this life or when you are judged afterlife. suges talent and accomplishments will
never touch dre’s. when all is said and done dre will be a musical legend that will stand through time and suge will be nothing but a sidenote,a myth that no one will care about. and that’s something that will haunt and torture suge til the day he dies. that dre got the best of him. a way to compare dre and suge’s legacy is like this. go to Chicago and go to the united center. at the front entrance you will see a statue. walk up to that statue and wait for a fly to land on it. this is
your answer. dre’s legend, talent and accomplishments represent the statue of Michael Jordan (enormous). the fly on the statue represents suge’s talent and accomplishments(tiny). Like dre says, “unless you’ve done what I’ve done, I will not pay any attention to your disses or lies. cause to me you don’t even exist.” amen to that. suge who?
keep the peace everybody. i’m out for a while.see you down the road.

i aint starting nothing i like dre's produce-in beats but as a rapper he sucks, fake you stated that "dre IS a hero. growing up in Compton he avoided gangs, drugs, selling drugs and crime to focus on doing something positive and doing what he loved - music. " Got nothing agianst that but why does he rap about it???He dosent as much now but before he did. he contridicts himself on one song hes like "ima gangsta dont fuck with me" and in the next hes like "im not a gangsta" just wanted to say that peace

yeah, hero is probably too strong of word. but dre should be respected and looked up to for what he did and how he did it. getting out of compton and being so successful is an incredible acomplishment. and he did it without falling for the traps that most brothas fall for. he should be an inspiration for some kid in compton who sees all the violence, poverty, lack of hope and sees no way out. what dre did can give that kid hope and a reason to work hard and do something positive with his/her life. what dre says on a record really has nothing to do with it. so when i say hero i'm not talking about the dr. dre character he plays on records. i'm talking about andre young and what he went through and all the hard work he put in to become a musical legend and incredibly successful and to get out of compton, ca, one of the most violent and crime ridden cities in the nation . so i see your point but my comments had nothing to do with what he says on a record. and dre will continue to get away from negative lyrics when he raps. he will still produce hardcore rap for others because thats what talent god gave him. but he will expand and evolve as an artist just like anybody else does as they get over. when you hear his newer stuff you will see what i mean. so i hope this clarified my "hero" statement. peace.

Michel'e is married to Suge ! I never knew that ! Just one question though if Michel'e has had kids for Dre does that mean that when Suge gets out he'll be living under the same roof as Dre's kids ?
Does any one see any thing esle wrong with that ? I mean Suge Knight living under the same roof as his arch rivals kids can't be good can it ? The kids might not be safe It is suge after all.... Does Miche'le have custody of the kids or does Dre ? I hope Dre does for the kids sake!...
