DPG - Dillinger & Young Gotti - & Snoop
« on: May 01, 2001, 02:47:22 PM »
If you havent already seen the DPG records advert check it out here http://www.dpgrecordz.com

On the left is Snoop (with a black eye), on the right is Big C-Style (lookin stoned).
Holding up 21st, and 19th respectively.
On the DPG motif is bandage.

Anybody know what the significance of this is?

I don't believe for a second that the tape rip from last week is the final cut of the album.

I'm still holding out for a Snoop collabo

Man, Yall Know The Significance... They're Admitting That They've Fought In The Past, Since There' All Beat Up...

They're Also Saying That Both Sides Are To Blame, That's Why They're BOTH Taken Licks...

They're Saying That Like Family, They've Come Back Together, That's Why There's Bandages, And The "We're BACKKK" Thing...

This Is A Beautiful Thing

Yeah... but are they back on *working* terms.

this is the first sign of the two camps coming together

i understand that if snoop does appear they dont wanna hype it because they would get accussed of getting snoop to carry it.

seeing the final tracklist/guestlist will help clear this shit up

yeah I know its a rag, but its being used as a bandage.
i see no reference to pac.

its good DPG are regrouping - it gives Death Row more opposition.

although what happens with people like lil-c-style will be interesting

Ok sum1 settle this for me once and for all
I know that Snoop is down with Big C but hates Lil' C.  But on Got Beef he clearly states "Big C Style on the grill" dissing him.
So dod they fall out or what?
Safe

Ps. I'm always thankful for more information about these lesser known cats - like how does Snoop now Big C when did he come on the scene etc.

For real!

Aight Big  C Style was on the grill (he was cooking as in barbecue grill) http://www.mtv.com/mtv/realmedia/playra.cgi?/mtv/news/real/e/east000510.rm

Oh and www.sohh.com had something on the album a while back and said Snoop will be featured on the album (can't find the exact link) & www.deathrow2k.com also says snoop will be on the album.

I agree with B-Please, it think the bandana is some way of showin respect to Pac.  I've seen a couple Pac pictures of him wearin' his bandana like that.  Lotsa rappers do that now though (Ja Rule for isntance).  I don't think it's supposed to be a band-aid though.  Maybe MTV or somebody will ask DPG about it one day, then we'll find out. :o

The symbols also in the back of the Coastin video at the end.

I'm not kidding...When I saw they bandana I thought it looked like one Pac wore.  I never said that was exactly what it meant, I just thought it could be.  It could mean nothing for all we know..some artist could have just thrown it on cause he thought it looked cool.  We won't know what it all means 'till some in an interview asks DPG what it means.
