this pre-dates G-Funk, but one of my favorite West Coast old school hidden gems is the "This Is For The Homies" track by Rodney O & Joe Cooley, not the one that appears on the album, but the one that contains a mix from Johnny "Guitar" Watson's "A Real Mutha For Ya. "

Here's a few:

DMG & Daddy V-Somethin About My Hood, This Is Why We Do--two of the best g-funk tracks no one's heard of
International Family Affair (I.F.A.)- Self Titled-- smooth bay funk
Sean T- Pimp Lyrics and Dollar Signs-- classic album
Young Rome-Animousity and Playground (ft. LV)
L.O.L. - Heaven or Hell (especially Summer Breeze, a true classic)
Mr. X.-self-titled (great album w/production by QDIII)
Mac&AK-Westbound EP
