The 1st warren-g song that i listened to was regulate. It ispired me very much. Than many years past and i saw an album in music store. An album named "I want it all" by warren-g. I said i remember this guy, but remember by what? Then i looked at the feats. and that was incredible. Mack 10, DPG, Snoop, Nate, El Debarge... I bought it there. Then it started with gangsta love, when it came to G-Spot I was like "drunk". Like It left me a hole in my brain. Then i found "Take a look off your sholder" album. It was good but i can call it avarage if i compare wit other warren-g albums. Transformers, Any Man, Can You Feel It were dope. Lastly i found Regulater and it really didnt dissapoint me. That was a great sound for 94. This thread is not about that album so i wont say anything else more about regulater album. Then i bought "Return Of The Regulater" album. Oh man, this is the best shit ever Warren did. From Intro to Keep It Strong. It's a west coast classic. And i cant figure out how it is so underrated. There is Dr. Dre and Scott Storch on lookin at you, you got Knoc-Turnal as songwriter on Keep It Strong, aslo it's featuring El Debarge. You got Mista Grimm, Kokane, Butch Cassidy, Nate, Snoop and George mf Clinton! It must be soldl 10 million copy if there are just 10 million people listen Hip-Hop... ( I hope nobody talk about "midnight hour"... because i still cant believe that Warren really did it)

Return of the regulator is my fav out of those listed, no filler , great production and nice rhymes.

How come you didnt include in the midnight hour.

yup... wonder why, too ..

in the mid nite hour was a different approach but overall it's a dope record with some awesome tracks (I even love the stuff like make it do what it do because of that vocal sample in the background)

You cant show me any song on midnight hour better than "gangsta love", "why one why", "Dollars make sense", "You never know"... How can you say "I want it all" is wack! Dont you ever taste a lil bit of gangsta love :) here is a west coast forum!

How can you say In The Mid-Nite Hour is wack?

I would rather listen to I Need A Light, Get U Down Pt2, Yes Sir, PYT, In The Mid-Nite Hour, than any of the tracks on I Want It All. Its just my personal opinion. ITMH is seriously underrated,

I loved in the mid-nite hour, the title track is fucking smooth! Had some romantic skirmishes to that a gang of times, and I need a light is classic.

But yes, i love all of his albums, it's G-funk at it's best. Hopefully that new thing he is working on is on par with the rest of his production.
