Return of the regulator is my fav out of those listed, no filler , great production and nice rhymes.

How come you didnt include in the midnight hour.

I would be surprised if the list include "in the midnight hour"... that's one of the wackest shits in west coast hip hop

No, you're wrong. I love the beats on that album. I Want It All is 'that's one of the wackest shits in west coast hip hop'

You cant show me any song on midnight hour better than "gangsta love", "why one why", "Dollars make sense", "You never know"... How can you say "I want it all" is wack! Dont you ever taste a lil bit of gangsta love :) here is a west coast forum!

How can you say In The Mid-Nite Hour is wack?

I would rather listen to I Need A Light, Get U Down Pt2, Yes Sir, PYT, In The Mid-Nite Hour, than any of the tracks on I Want It All. Its just my personal opinion. ITMH is seriously underrated,

People say hip-hop dead and they are right, people miss past... And we the listeners deserver it... Why? Because you like albums like in the midnight hour. So warren's job is easy. He puts a wack album out like itmh and people like it. You deserver it people. But i deserve an album like "Return of the regulater"...

He's not going to re-make "return of the regulator", get over it. Bump his old shit, but respect that the man wants to expand and make something different. And how can hip hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever  8) ?

yeah, thats the clearest I've ever heard it.

Midnight Hour would be good as an EP, or maybe if it was labelled a lamont/g dub collab. right now it has too much filler

Of those three, "I Want It All" was the best! Love that album.
Take a look over your shoulder was dissapointing. Warren G's weakest album...  Too mediocre and it seemed like Warren G wasn't creative enough on the beats (he's always been an avarege rapper at best).
The Return was a good album, with some hits and misses.

i thought g spot was a dope song on "i want it all" i remember hearing game dont wait remix on kmel for a while and being dissapointed when i bought the album and it not being on there, anybody know why it didnt make it on there? midnite hour had some really dope as beats though not part of this thread it was really slept on.

I think the reason the "Game Don't Wait" remix wasn't on Want It All was because it wasn't finished in time.  It was a track that was completed after the original had already came out on the album.

Warren G Albums...

G Funk Era-  Classic.. 10/10.. best summer album ever, "This DJ" I remember when I first heard this song I didn't like it.  I bought this cd because of his affiliation with Snoop, and I couldn't understand back then, I was only 11, why the album wasn't on Death Row.  The album sounded soft to me compared to the Chronic and Doggystyle.  I had to get used to the laid back style, but it ended up becoming my anthem to my whole summer that year in 1994.  Those were the good old days.

Take A Look Over Your Shoulder-  8.5/10...  This album was under-rated.  If they would have released "Annie Mae" as a single this album would have blown up.  "Annie Mae" was a 10/10.  Like someone said, you can play through this whole album without skipping.  It picks up right where G Funk Era left off with no big sophmore jinx letdown.  "Reality" is one of my all time favorites.

Want It All- 7/10... Another solid album from top to bottom.  I love how you can roll to a Warren G album and really relax and his lyrics really take you back to all the good times in your life.  He's always reminiscing himself, about back in the day.. and this album is really smooth, he switched up his sound a little bit but it still worked.
