Songs Dre Rapped On, But Didn't Produce
« on: April 19, 2001, 02:46:04 PM »
I've pondered this question, this is an elite list for The Doctor.  I've come up with these songs that Dre was not invovled in the production what so ever, but contributed a verse/hook.

"U Better Recognize"  Produced by Sam
Sneed, hook done by Dre.

"Got Me Open"  Produced by Bud'da, Dre has one verse.

"Puppet Master"  Produced by Muggs, Dre does a verse.

"No Diggity"  Produced by Teddy Riley, Dre has one verse.

"Ghetto Fabulous"  Produced by Stu-B-Doo, Dre raps.

"The Message"  Produced by Lord Finesse, Dre raps.

"Watch Me"  Produced by Irv Gotti, Dre on hook.

"If I Get Locked Up Tonight"  Produced by Rockwilder, Dre on hook.

IS THERE ANY MORE, IF THERE IS SOMEONE HELP ME OUT.

There is 2 versions of U Better Recognize. One dre and sam co-produced, one Sam produced himself. Jakedogg has the dre/sam produced one, i have the same produced one. and I had the dre/sam one burnt on my dre bootleg, the dre one is better for sure.
I don't know if these count but tracks on dogg food dre is on respect and let's play house but me and trauma believe he produced those 2 tracks.i think there has to be more.peace-Tanjint

A y'all, I added that E A Ski song with Dre, "Dr. Dre & Mr. Ski".  Did Ski handle the production himself?  I think he did, someone help me out to make sure.

They co-produced it, cuz i remember in an interview with ski he was saying how he learned so much from watching dre do his thing behind the boards on that track

Suge produced like three albums, and exec produced most other ones early DRR. The fact he sucked ain't the point. He co-produced The Roach, High Powered and Gin 'N Juice(though on the latter, it was basically him mastering the sound and checking the drum programming).

Mel-Man produced just under half of the tracks that were done in-house on 2001. The Message was produced by Lord Finesse, as pointed out in the liner notes.

Dre didn't do Hello-Don't say he did in the liner notes of Peacem, so he didn't.
