The hook on the first version made it to a great track. The version with will.i.am takes away the whole vibe of the song. That version sucks. You could argue about the skills of Lil Wayne and Jay Rock because they needed a hook to make a great song, but that's not the point.

Jay Rock and his people (including label execs) could have shot a great song into the mainstream. How many times has that happened in the last 12 months? 2-3 times maybe? Yet they decide to play it 'safe' and release a wack song. How is that supportive for (the) music? Jay Rock needs to man up a little bit.
