a tribe called quest vs. outkast

who do yall take? this is how i brake down their albums....

peoples instinctive travels vs. spcm - tie
low end theory vs. atliens - low end theory
midnight marauders vs. aquemini - aquemini by a little, mm was a great album
br&l vs. stankonia - stankonia
love movement vs. next outkast album - probably next outkast album.

I take outkast overall, but the low end theory is better than any outkast album IMO.

I understand that, I was ranking them based on enjoyment. Overall based on the number of good albums I think outkast takes it, but when Tribe was doin their thing, no other rap group could touch them. (the low end theory)

i actually think they're similar artists in a way..but overall i think Outkast is the better of the 2 i mean they've been so consistant over the years and they only keep getting better

you see...when i was younget atcq were my shit for real....


right up until the wu tang came up and blew my mind i was all about some tribe shit....so i gotta go  with them....

i love outkast too tho....

Im gonna be biased cos i love Phife, Tip n Ali, Midnight Marauders is one of my favourite albums ever. Tribe Called Quest will return.

however... 'People Instinctive Travels. '

wins it for ATCQ for two reasons

1) silly album title
2) dope album

I never really heard much stuff from the tribe. I have been planning to cop there albums but I've had other stuff to buy. OUtkast is tight though.

8) You dont know what youre missing top dawg. If you do cop an album I reccomend "midnight mauraders" or "low end theroy" As for tha subject :
Tribe all the way lyric wise and beats, Tribe is true hip hop the way it used to be str8 flow ya know. I aint hating on gangsta rap or anything but i feel tribe and very few other rappers are on a whole other level.Peace

I love 'em both, but ATLiens beats Low End Theory, though not Midnight Maurauders, which it's even with.

I love OutKast and ATCQ equally, but in different ways. ATCQ is a touch of the old school, whereas as OutKast is so many things at once...

I Haven't Listened To MUCH Of Tribe's Stuff, Even Though I Picked Up Low End Theory And Midnight Marauders Used Years Ago... I Guess I Need To Dig Them Back Out.  That's One Of Those Groups That Was Always Dope, And Got Respect From Me, But I Never Really Listened To Them Much.
