I think what makes Daz's beats real tight is the fact that he keeps that trademark west coat sound in alot of his songs. That sound you here in songs like Raw, Up In Smoke Beat, most of Doggystyle.

Daz can't see dre. Daz is good but Dre is legendary. Dre can produce westcoast, eastcoast, r&b, anything. Daz hasn't proved that to us yet.

Dre's beat sound perfect, Daz is cool but his shit don't sound too professional sometimes.

I like daz`s beats well, although there are sometimes a little simple beats from him.
But there is nothin above tha d.r.e. who started that g-funk thing and is simply a perfecter.

The only thing i`m sad about is that dre won`t or didn`t go back to his classic g-funk beats from his death row dayz, which we all love so much .

He straight moves forward and wants to try new shit which in my opinion isn`t as good as his past stuff but very high quality stuff as well.

Both have fallen off in recent years but I still got to go with Dre.  Dre is much more versatile in the type of beats he could make, Daz just sticks to that westcoast sound, which is dope also.

As for my opinion, in terms of longivity & popularity, Dre own Daz, but for myself I rather wack on R.A.W. compared to 2001 anyday.

and in my opinion, you can tell how some of DAz's beats sound the same.....Dre is expanding and creating new sounds.....they are both top notch, but you can debate this till you are old..and D-R-E, will still be on top....
